Brixworth has a long tradition of shoemaking. Cobblers Cottage was where shoes would have been made by homeworkers. The property has its own private balcony with far reaching countryside views. Situated in a colourful garden the cottage has its own access. The prize winning cook/owner provides a superb breakfast which is included. Dinner is available on request. Cobblers is located in an historic part of the village, within walking distance of shops and recreation facilities.

Lovely room in Market Gadeners Cottage less than a mile from supermarkets and restaurants in Sandy town centre. Ideally located for RSPB nature reserve, Shuttleworth College and Air Museum, Good Rail Links to London and the North. Located approx mile down country lane nice for walking or cycling in the area. Breakfast is fruit, cereal, yoghurt, there is use of a microwave and small fridge at property. We are close to main line railway line, although room is to rear of property.

Secluded room with French doors to garden. Entrance via shared utility corridor. Room has its own toilet and electric shower. Room offers view of long garden with seating options. We have chickens and bee hives, which don’t bother us but means we can offer eggs and honey for breakfast with fresh coffee and toast. We are within reach of Sywell reservoir, Northampton, Althorp, Salcey forest and Silverstone. We have 2 cats which stay out of the way of strangers.

The Dovecote

The Dovecote is a luxuriously renovated and unique hide-away for a romantic country escape just an hour from London. It is part of Sandon Manor Estate with its 1200 acres of rolling countryside, which also comprises the spacious Manor House (see separate listing).
