The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. The apartment contains a fully equipped high-quality kitchen with a microwave, Senso coffee machine, oven, fridge-freezer and toaster. In addition to the 2 box-spring beds, two sofa beds are available. Towels and linens are optional. In the garden you will find chickens and 1 bantam rooster. Opposite is a small grocery store with bakery and butcher shop that is open from 7 am to 12 pm. There is a restaurant in the village. The many bike and hiking trails characterize the area.

From Medard, hiking sports, canoeing and draisine rides are possible. Our spacious non-smoking apartment can accommodate 1-3 people. It has a separate entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living room, one one a double bedroom and a shower room with toilet. The apartment also has a balcony.

Friendly contacts exist with the winegrowing families from Meddersheim and with the top wineries Emrich-Schönleber in Monzingen and Dönnhoff in Oberhausen. The wine refrigerator is always well-stocked and wine tastings can be arranged individually.
