Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

A lovely location with great views and super garden and pool area. We were meet by the host who showed us around the property which was very comfortable and well equipped. A quiet relaxing area but only 15 mins from Bergerac town.

We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

The cottage has a lot of character, the two bedrooms upstairs have a lot of charm and are very pleasant… beautiful kitchen space, very well equipped and a superb landscaped environment. Kti’s place was beautiful. Very spacious and clean. Walking distance to restaurants, cafe’s, shops and the river. Kti met us when we arrived and explained all we needed to know about the apartment. Kti was very friendly. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderfully unique airbnb in the “rapunzel” tower & i loved it! Others have mentioned the spiral stair climb - it’s real but totally worth the climb. Gorgeous views over old town roof tops, in the midst of beautiful old streets & lovely restaurants (triple thumbs up to la petit auberge - best meal I’ve had in my 3 weeks in france). Good living area & kitchen with balcony (& little washing machine works a treat snd good outdoor area for quick drying). Upstairs another lovely space with bedroom & bathroom. Highly recommend this airbnb.

This is a lovely apartment and just as described. It has been very tastefully renovated and the fixtures and fittings are high quality and comprehensive. The location in the old quarter of Bergerac, near the river and close to shops, restaurants and tourist opportunities is first rate and it would be hard to find something better in a 2 bed apartment. Highly recommended and I am sure we will book again in the future.

Super comfortable bed, superb shower room, well-equipped kitchen and nothing better than having breakfast on the terrace with the chirping of birds. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation as well as its waterfront garden. A true haven of peace, ideal for recharging your batteries with a magnificent view. Isabelle is a really nice person and offers services that are rare in their quality. We can't wait to see her again! We would recommend it without hesitation :)

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

Contact was easy and smooth with Jérémy. Very smiling, punctual and clear in his explanations, he knows how to put you at ease from the start. The apartment corresponded in all respects to the description, it is modern, well-equipped, tastefully decorated and is much larger in reality. It is also very well located in Brive, the hyper center is about a ten-minute walk. Finally, the parking space is an undeniable asset.

Perfect location right on the Dordogne, you are virtually with your feet in the water. We were in the upstairs apartment with a conservatory-like porch with sliding windows, so the view of the river is fantastic no matter the season. There, sitting at the large table, you can eat, have a drink in the evening or just watch the hustle and bustle on the river (only canoes/kayaks, no motorized boats). The small terrace is also facing the river side, but you can also picnic or use deck chairs in the large garden. The small kiosk on the beach in front of the apartment has excellent small dishes. We were also thrilled with the surroundings, as you can make different visits every day. Everything was great here. We will be happy to come back. My wife and I cannot begin to express our appreciation for Louise as host and our accommodations during our visit to Le Bugue. Louise went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was responsive and proactive in communicating with us leading up to our visit. The accommodations themselves and the setting is a magical experience and we cannot recommend them enough.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.

Well-decorated and well-arranged accommodation, in line with the listing in every respect. The exchanges and instructions were clear and fluid and the hosts very friendly. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.
