Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Beau Champ

We enjoyed here a full month in May 2025. Strong points: - First of all, the apartment was CLEAN. I confess my wife is a cleanliness freak, she had very minor objections regarding the cleanliness. This is really rare for her! - The owners were very receptive to all our requests. - The apartment is very big. It can easily accommodate 2 families with kids (middle bedroom is equipped for children), if they can manage the usage of the only bathroom. However, the shower and the toilet are each isolated in it's own space, meaning that shower, toilet and sink can be used by 3 persons in the same time. - A beautiful beach is 200 mtrs away. - Bus stop at 100 mtrs. - A restaurant just across the street, fair cooking and prices. Weak points: - Hot water is produced by solar panels. Next morning after a cloudy day the water may be not hot enough. - The location is in an quite isolated neighbourhood, so if you are a fan of nightlife (not our case, however) you must rent a car or use a taxi.

Nathalie was super, she helped us in every way possible. Having a nice clean and tidy home is important, but the real difference is made by people! The housekeeper Sharmela also kept the house in perfect order and prepared a delicious Mauritian lunch for us. The house is perfect for children who can play safely. We recommend a stay of at least 7 days so you don't suffer too much when you leave the house. Thanks to all the staff

A unforgettable stay! The sea view is simply magical. The accommodation is perfectly equipped and very well located. The private pool is a real plus. A huge thank you to Anne and Dominique for their wonderful hospitality. They are hosts with exceptional kindness. It immediately feels like a home away from home. We leave with memories in our heads. We would recommend this place without a second thought, and for sure, we'll be back!!

We had an amazing stay at this spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained apartment. Its location is perfect, with many restaurants, a shopping center, and popular beaches just a short distance away. The apartment is well-kept, offers 24/7 security, and includes dedicated parking - everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. Christopher is a great host. He dropped by during our check-in and thoughtfully walked us through all the apartment amenities. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Mauritius!

This place was perfect. It’s located just across from the beach, easy to access, and really well set up. The host was friendly and responsive, and I appreciated the flexibility with early check-in and late check-out. Everything was smooth and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay! The house is very cosy and warm – it instantly felt like home. Everything essential was provided, making our stay super comfortable and stress-free. And the best surprise? We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The place was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Kavita, the villa owner, thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful place with us, it truly felt like a home away from home. Priscille, the villa manager, was incredibly kind and helpful. She welcomed us warmly, gave us a detailed tour of the entire property, even at night, and made sure we were comfortable from the very beginning. On our first day, they even brought us food, which we really appreciated, and we settled it with them later. She was always available if we needed anything and even came to say goodbye when we checked out, despite it being earlier than usual. Priscille truly went above and beyond, and we’re very grateful for her hospitality. Highly recommended!

The house is very beautiful, furnished and decorated with attention to detail, super-equipped kitchen and well-designed spaces. Nothing is missing (washing machine, dishwasher, oven...) even for long stays. The outdoor spaces are ideal for relaxing after a day spent exploring the island. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Super flexible check-in and super welcome! A single personal note: the mattresses are a little too soft for us, and every now and then at night you can hear dogs barking, nothing that prevented us from resting.

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice he booked all our excursions for us, including the restaurant reservation, taxi and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly as described. I highly recommend it.

Cleanliness, friendliness, etc. were all perfect! I also requested to use the washing machine, and they were happy to let me! Perfect as an accommodation near the airport.

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

Jaqueline’s place is a true gem—compact yet fully equipped and beautifully designed. It looks even better in person and instantly felt like home. Just 200 meters from the beach and a short walk to a large supermarket, the location is perfect. Wish we had an extra day to enjoy it!

we had a great stay in this very nice apartment. feels like home. we have done a lot of cooking , the kitchen has all what you need. everything was good, the bed, the seating area, the terrace with nice view on nature. the area is very quiet and Ashwin mother is very friendly et very helpful. we will surely come back to this place if, hopefully on day, we ever come back to Grand Baie.

We had a great stay at Cozy Condo. It was spacious with a large balcony and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Around the condo is a peaceful residential area, a couple of streets from and extremely quiet stretch of public beach. There are restaurants and a large supermarket on the main road within walking distance of the apartment. Seb was a very responsive, helpful host and I would recommend this apartment as a base in the South of the island.

My family had a wonderful stay at Daren’s apartment! It is very close to the beach, it’s clean and most importantly, Daren is a fantastic host. He was responsive, flexible and very helpful with all requests. Definitely recommend staying here! :)

A nice and large studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance in about 10 minutes. If you want to drive to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very pleasant. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a bit noisy. Earplugs can help here. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

We had an amazing stay – this place truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment has everything you need, with a stylish mix of modern and retro-kitsch design, and plenty of space to relax. The view of the ocean is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The location couldn’t be better – right on the Flic en Flac beach, within walking distance to almost everything. A special thanks to Bil, who provided first-class service. His communication was proactive, he was incredibly flexible, and his hospitality stood out. He even brought us an amazing biryani that showed how much he cares about his guests. He also arranged a baby cot, which was super comfortable for our little one. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!

it was a fantastic stay of 5 days with family... Jenny and Vincent were very responsive and helpful... the only thing I would mention, being an Indian, we were feeling need of a foster or jet spray in the WC... :-)

Great apartment right on the beach. Wonderful view of the sea from the terrace. Totally quiet location. You only hear the sea and birds chirping. You can take fantastic walks on the beach. The apartment has lots of space. Kitchen and bathroom were without blemish. It was all there what we needed. Roumila responded to our requests at any time. Absolutely recommended place if you are looking for piece and tranquility. Nearby is not as much as other places on the island, but it was exactly what we were looking for. A big thank you to Roumila
