Lovely Home in the Redwoods

RyanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely little cabin in the rustic Lompico hills just outside of Felton. The open floor plan makes the cabin feel very roomy, and the bright interior, together with lots of natural light, makes the place feel very cheery and welcoming. The property sits on a half-acre of gently sloping land ringed by redwoods, it's gorgeous and peaceful. Our dog loved roaming, sniffing around and playing fetch with the tennis balls left by the host. Getting there is quite easy, just follow the host's directions...the narrow mountain road might seem a little daunting at first, but we got the hang of it quickly. About 5 minutes down the road is the Zayante general store for necessities and Felton proper is about 10 minutes away. Loch Lomond is also about 10 minutes away. Lompico is a beautiful area with a cool history (look it up!) and the perfect place to unwind. Thanks for having us!

Redwood Treehouse Retreat

MelissaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay! The location was ideal for us, just a few minutes from a beautiful redwoods park and a short drive to the coast. This part of California is tucked away from the busy crowds of the Bay Area and feels remote. The Loma Mar outpost offers basic provisions and a restaurant a few minutes from the house, and Pescadero has a strip of shops and restaurants about ten minutes away. The house is lovely and comfortable, very peaceful.

Historic House in Downtown Pescadero!

BrendaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I can't say enough about how perfect our stay was at the McCormick House. It was like getting to have a slumber party in a beautiful museum, but with every possible comfort and amenity thought of. Lisa and Victor were wonderful hosts and Lisa was super responsive and lovely to communicate with. The property is located on the main street in Pescadero so it was super convenient to take a walk and explore the town, but the town is also a quick trip to Half Moon Bay. We took our two young kids and the second bedroom was perfect for them - adorable decor and a closet of toys and books. The yard is huge so they had a lot of room to run around but it was set back from the street so we didn't have to worry about traffic. We can't wait to stay again!

Santa Cruz A-Frame

YangRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!

Eclectic Escape

MasonRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Staying at this cabin nestled in the heart of a redwood grove in the Santa Cruz mountains was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay — it was a carefully curated experience. The host has thought of everything to make guests feel at home and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible: high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked pantry with essentials (and then some!), soft, luxurious bedding, and even thoughtfully placed candles that added a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Every touch felt intentional and generous. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Incredibly accommodating, kind, and flexible — they went out of their way to ensure every one of our needs was met with care and promptness. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods, with birdsong filtering through the trees, was unforgettable.

Majestic Tent Cabin at Venture

AíLeeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is a wonderful hideaway from the busy cities from the Bay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Many thanks to Shaun for his warm hospitality and recommendations. We stayed two nights and it was delighted to have beautiful clear nights while we enjoyed the amazingly fire pit with endless warmth and star glazing. While the place is going through some renovation but we were able to enjoy the place since it was a weekend stay. The tent sits on a 360 degree deck. We set and had breakfast in the back with the mountain view and listening to bird songs. The bathroom is very lovely and spacious. The shower is great as the hot water was on demand immediately. Love that! A bonus for cat lovers as the resident cats are extremely affectionate and will come and sit on your shoulders. 😊❤️

I have to start with just how BEAUTIFUL and breathtaking the views are. Pictures do not do this place justice. My friend and I experience one of the best sunsets ever! This place is peaceful and it felt like a little slice of heaven. William and Sana were so amazing and hospitable. They made the checkin process easy and Sana personally walked us through the entire place. Will be coming back for sure!
