Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Appartement Aloha vind je aan de rand van het dorp Buren met uitzicht over de weilanden, de duinen en de Waddenzee. De Waddenzee bevind zich op 5 minuten fietsen, het strand en de Noordzee 10 minuten. Het sfeervolle 4 persoons vakantiehuis bevindt zich in het voorhuis van onze woonboerderij. Het gebouw is in traditionele Amelander boerderij-stijl gerealiseerd en ruim opgezet. Ook prima geschikt met kinderen, de gedeelde tuin heeft een speeltoestel. The apartment is modernly furnished and has recently been completely renovated. In the kitchen you can cook and at the large dining table you can enjoy dining. The TV can be watched on the lounge sofa and even Netflix is in the subscription. The apartment is only 300 meters from the beach and also nearby are the dunes and the forest. Everything is within walking distance. In the village, 5 minutes cycling is a cozy shopping street, several restaurants and 2 supermarkets.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together.
