Akhbupye's place is a perfect place to start your exploration of Bayan-Ulgii. It's centrally located, 5 - 10 minutes walk to the town's square, and lots of small grocery shops within a 3-minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is sparkling clean and has all the amenities that made my stay comfortable, including fast Wi-Fi. Akhbupye speaks English and responds within minutes to texts or calls. She also runs a local tour operator that takes small groups to the Eagle Hunting community of Bayan Ulgii. At my request, Akhbupye provided transportation from and to the airport. For longer stays, she also arranges a cleaning service. I highly recommend a stay at Akhbupye's apartment and experience the Mongolian-Kazkak hospitality.

I live with wife and son and our house is newly built with all modern comforts. The central sqaure of Ulgii is 10 minutes walk, and there is a supermarket under 2 minutes away. I speak good English. My wife speaks some, but always welcoming person! We can provide breakfast and also cook dinner for you for a small extra cost. I run a tour guiding company, so please ask about tours in the local area including hiking, horseriding, cultural tours, kazakh nomad homestay and visiting egle hunter!

Very good hosting and a superb family who helped me a lot during my stay: After spending 1 night in the apartment, I left with the family's son for a few days in the mountains and to live the nomadic life and meet with eagle hunters: I recommend it 100%.

A traditional Kazakh ger is nestled among green grass and tall trees, reflecting gently in a nearby tranquil pond. The yurt features vibrant colors, while the serene landscape of mountains and forest creates a peaceful backdrop.

There is not the yurt only, but a nice family which will take care about all you need in Ulgii province of Mongolia. Truck, driver, permits, service etc. Very friendly people. Great English level.
