Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bay Islands Department

Great little place away from the noise of the town but still within walking distance from Chepes beach and some good restaurants. Dean is a great host, very proactive and friendly. The place is as described in the listing, the internet works like a charm (which was important to us). Great thing about it - there are actually lots of hummingbirds that visit the place at all times during the day!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely house in Coral Views. All I can say is the views are fabulous, from the ocean, to the golf course, to the forest views. All seen from the privacy of your own infinity pool. The house is tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. With the windows closed there is complete silence, had the best sleep. Did not require the A/C much due to the lovely ocean breeze. The views made it difficult to leave. The only downside would be that the area is steep, not really walkable. We rented a car, the house is close to amenities, only 5 mins away. The roads up to the property are steep and with a lot of tight corners, but doable. The property management team were very responsive, and give detailed instructions to the property. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

My friends and I had the most incredible and relaxing girls' trip at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view—it was truly picture-perfect and made every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and cleanliness did not go unnoticed, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our time. If you're planning a trip to Roatán, I highly recommend staying here! It’s the perfect place to unwind, take in the stunning surroundings, and create lasting memories. Can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved this house! It’s in the best location on the island, close to the most beautiful beaches and in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need. The owners and the property manager were incredibly kind and always made sure everything was perfect during our stay. I spent 3 wonderful days here with my family and we’re all super happy with the experience. We will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here — it makes getting around much easier.

We stayed 8 days at Pauli's Airbnb, and it was a spectacular week. The accommodation was exactly as described, Pauli even provided us with some beach chairs and it was a hit! Because we were able to spend the whole day on the beach without problems, the rental of the vehicle with Pauli is highly recommended, it was very useful and we were able to tour the island very easily 👏

10 out of 10 I would most definitely use Conrad’s Airbnb again and with me being a travel agent, I would hands-down recommend this specific Airbnb as well as the host to anybody that I would personally send to Roatan. Overall communication was great. The host was great. The amenities were great. The location was great. I don’t feel like my words can express the amount of peace Joy and COMFORT we received with everything.

Loved our private accomodation, beautiful setting. Very peaceful area and the hosts were very responsive. We did find it difficult to cook with the equipment provided and found the town a bit far away. Over 20 minute walk to the centre of town. However it was certainly nice to wake up to a very quiet setting with tons of privacy.

The house was great for our family of five. Very safe beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend using Waze for directions because Apple and Google maps were not accurate. We did rent a car and getting around was easy after a day. We had a wonderful time in Roatan. Zip lining and little French keys were our favorite. The public beach at west end was great as well. We will be back!

It was a pleasure staying at Jenny’s apartment! Quit location but within walking distance from Main Street Utila (20-25 minutes). Clean, well equipped, and good beds.

The Airbnb was exactly as described and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded the day we arrived. The area was safe and walkable the restaurants and nightlife. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit. Location, safety, price, clean, and comfortable…checks off all the boxes.

Great place to stay. The place is equipped with anything you might need. You can even cook. Walking distance to beaches and Taxis and restaurants close by.

Husky Hideaway Apartments are a wonderful place to stay!! Caroline was extremely helpful before and during our stay with helping us organize activities and a driver. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and it was a GREAT location; close enough to walk into town for diving, shopping, and restaurants, but just far enough away that it was very quiet from the “main strip” hustle. We would definitely stay here again! We are not “resort people” and this was perfect and homey and allowed us to really have a comfortable place to come home to after diving and exploring!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly an unforgettable stay! This was hands-down one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The location was perfect- close to everything we wanted to do, yet peaceful and relaxing. But what truly made this stay exceptional was Estela and Maudy! They were beyond amazing- incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our trip special. Even before we arrive, Estela was extremely responsive, helping us plan our stay by setting up a ride from the airport and answering all our questions thoroughly. During our visit, they continued to go above and beyond. One of the most memorable moments was when Maudy cooked us a delicious, fresh tuna meal- with the tuna we caught that very day! It was such a personal and thoughtful touch that made us feel completely at home! Every detail, from their warm hospitality to the incredible food and ideal location, made this trip unforgettable. We would recommend this place to absolutely anyone!

House on the Hill was a lovely, peaceful stay for us. Gorgeous views from a spacious, private residence with the world’s sweetest dogs. The spot is quiet and very peaceful, and the home is lovely. As Yvonne clearly stated in the description, this would not be a fit for anyone with poor fitness or mobility issues. It is quite a hike up the hill! But we enjoy walking/hiking, so it didn’t bother us. There are two nice restaurants down the hill, right on the beach, but beyond that, it’s not really walking distance into town. We rented a scooter from the hosts, and that was extremely helpful for getting back and forth from our dive shop and restaurants in West End. We liked being able to easily get into town without having to deal with the noise and activity we’ve experienced staying down there in the past. The hosts also arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, including a stop at a very nice supermarket. Yvonne and Franco were very responsive, friendly, and ideal hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Cove. Everything was as advertised and the condo was very clean. We were already familiar with the location, so we knew exactly what to expect from the location and the walk to the West End commercial strip. Would greatly recommend. We were also pleased with Roatan Vacation Rentals who manage the property. They were very proactive and responsive to us and can arrange many things such as transportation to and from the airport and also with any other activities you may want to plan during your stay.

Fatima and Tirza were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with anything we might need, available on chat, and Tirza lives right in the area. They picked us up from the airport and returned us to the airport at the end of the stay. They gave us lots of recommendations about where to go. The condo is spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. Simple comfortatable place with new quiet air conditioners. Walkable to West End, it's a bit of a walk up the hill, about 10 minutes, but you get a chance to walk off your last meal and get your steps in. Thank you very much Fatima and Tirza!

Jessica's house was nice and clean and we felt right at home. She has all the basics needed for basic cooking for your stay. The location was peaceful and was walking distance to many dive shops, restaurants and gift shops. perfect area if you do not have a rental car. would stay here again.

We had a great week at this condo! Vanessa was extremely responsive to all questions. She arranged our pick up at the airport which was very helpful. The condo was spacious for our family of four and the pool was a great amenity. We loved taking a water taxi to the Mayan Princess in West Bay to enjoy the beach and pool. Snorkeling was amazing right off the beach! The condo was a short walk to all of the great restaurants in West End. There are a lot of steps to get up to the condo so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Like some others said, the linens & decor could use a refresh but overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

Great place. Mellisa recommendations were awesome! We had a great time and would love to go back someday. Jacksons dive shop is a 1 minute walk up the road. They were fantastic. Mellisa also recommended a driver, Marco. He was the best and we never needed a rental car.

Bills place is beautiful and so well equipped. We had amazing coffee, every spice and kitchen utensil, towels. Cold cups- cooler- way more than expected. The views were incredible, great restaurants within walking distance- definitely no car needed. We will definitely be back- nice pool and so responsive- really wonderful experience!

Staying at Wanda’s place was a great experience. The 2 bed, 2 bath condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable with plenty of room to relax. We especially loved having a full kitchen to cook breakfast and prep snacks throughout the day. The view overlooking the pool was a bonus and made mornings even more peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable, we had a balcony that we could people watch on West end road. The kitchen was very modern even tho we didn’t use it. I will definitely stay there again. For the price it was money well spent

My Brother in law and nephew enjoyed the place a lot, it was comfortable, it was nice view, and they had fun, I would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Roatan, thank you for your time.
