Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Basel City

The house was very beautiful and cosy, a very nice surprise for me. Anette was very open and helpful and I was happy to discover things in common, she is also a coach and does shamanic work. It is an old house and this has also some challenges, such as being kinda cold in the winter, I had to use many blankets but also good points - the beauty of the house, the neighbourhood, which is calm and elegant. Great option for me and very accessible.

Very nice host and very well-maintained place. Very good space to be with friends. The house is very close to bus stops which makes visits easy.

The stay at Iris's place was great with all the comforts we needed. The wonderfully organized kitchen, very clean and with all the appliances you would need. The very beautifully landscaped back garden by Iris's husband, offers moments of relaxation, the joy of hearing the birds sing and lovely flavors from the flowers around. Transportation to the city center is by tram, which runs 7 minutes during the week, and has a fast route (in 10-15 minutes you get where you need). The Basel card (provided by Iris) was very helpful because it saved us from a significant additional expense. We really enjoyed staying at Iris's place and will definitely appeal to her hospitality again when we come back to this wonderful city.

Ingrid and Hans are SuperHost, SuperGenuine and SuperKind. Their spirit and the house reprensent the real AirBnB spirit. Community of trust and like minded people. They took time to show me the surroundings, responsive, easy check In & Out. The room is cosy clean and warm, I slept like a baby, Kitchen is functional, I enjoyed cooking my meals, loved my peaceful breakfast time. At Basel for a seminar at Jakobshalle, the location is very convenient, pleasant walks through a parc on early morning and late evenings, I felt very safe. I recommend without any hesitation.

Very nice, quiet place suitable for up to 6 people. Very nice pool. Good connection with tram to Basel. Susanne is a very warm host, happy to give tips for restaurants and excursions. On request, Susanne also offers a very tasty breakfast with homemade products. If we get the chance, we will be happy to stay with Susanne again.

We loved our stay at Adina’s place. Great apartment in a beautiful and green part of Basel. Close to buses and trams, and only a short distance from everything we needed. The place itself is welcoming and comfortable with huge bedrooms, a great modern kitchen and bathroom (shower with great water pressure), and the most gorgeous sun-trap balcony with sun-bed - where we spent a lot of downtime with a glass of wine. Loved our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Basel.

You really feel at home, Carla's home. She welcomes you in her apartment: large and partial, in downtown upper Basel. There are commodities in several areas nearby.

The apartment is nice and quiet. Everything is well thought out and nicely designed. The hosts were very nice, welcomed us great and gave us a lot of helpful information about Basel. We felt very comfortable. The location was ideal for us because we arrived by car and could park right in front of the house on the street, but took the tram to the city on site (in the city center a car is only a hindrance). Less than a 12-minute walk to the tram stop with bakery, supermarket and restaurants in the center of town. The apartment offers everything you need to explore Basel and surroundings.

Cozy bohemian-vibe apartment, with quiet bedrooms and nice beds. Just be aware that the toilet is in the stairwell, it is not shared with other people though. We enjoyed the small balcony and lacked nothing.

This airbnb is comfortable and clean in a quiet neighborhood that is a 10 minute walk from restaurants and shops. Area is safe and well located. Apartment is in the 2nd flight of stairs but we knew this and didn’t mind getting our bags up the stairs. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Loved the patio. Would stay there again.

Manuel was a perfect host - helpful and hospitable. His place is a very good example why I like AirBNB so much. You can find here not just another place for renting but apartment that looks more like gallery or art place. And at the samу time you see and feel how locals live there. Flat is huge, airy and full of light. There is everything you need for comfortable stay. Also great location - you can reach old city center by walk or by few minutes on train. Thanks for the location it was first time I prefer to walk through the city than use tram or taxi. Just across the street you can find supermarket and cafees. Highly recommend!
