House vacation rentals in Barry County

The home was perfect in size for our 16 member family. The theater room was so enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were used every day!! We cooked all of our food there, including pudgie pies over the fire. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary items needed for cooking, including a Kitchen aid mixer that we used to make a birthday cake while we were there. The instant hot water was awesome as was the water pressure. The decor in the house and all of the grounds outside were perfect! Lots of places for good photo opportunities! We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and hope to stay there again in the future!!!

It's the second time we book this accommodation. Very comfortable and spacious. Mary is always available for any need.

Great family home with plenty of rooms, beds, linens - especially for a blended family! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, feel at home and be comfortable. The whole place was very clean and in a very nice neighborhood/ subdivision. The decor was tasteful and all the games and activities they provided allowed us to chill at the house and enjoy our time together. We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful home on the water. The pool, hot tub, and kayaks are great. Jared is very responsive and helped us greatly.

We absolutely loved our stay. The amenities were amazing and the location was friendly. Super clean and you can tell the hosts really want you to feel at home there. They stocked everything from towels, trash bags, bedding, etc. We found that we literally only needed to bring food and clothing. They even have video showing you how to use the amenities! Super nice, friendly, and attentive hosts that really made our stay (and my wife’s birthday) extra special. WE LOVED IT!

We were in Allegan for our wedding weekend and this place was the perfect spot for our Bridal Party to stay with us. Plenty of space, beautiful spot, a pool, just a great place for the weekend. We easily fit 8-9 cars in the driveway which was great for our guests. We had a really great time. Check out was easy as pie as well! Highly recommend this place!

This place was SO nice for the price and especially the location!! not to mention the huge relaxing hot tub on the property. wish i could have stayed longer!!

Our experience at the old school house for our girls weekend was fabulous! Lance & Claire were incredibly responsive to any questions we had before going and every single detail in the house has been meticulously picked out. This house was such a joy for us to stay in and I can't say enough positive things about the "on theme" decor - we loved it!

Our family had a great time staying at the lake. Kids swam and caught lots of fish from the dock. Lucas recommendation on a boat rental was affordable and close to the house. The overall location was easy to get to and close enough to stores. We drove to Saugatuck and checked out Oval beach only an hour away. We didn't stay over a weekend but the boat traffic during our stay was minimal. Plenty of spots to go out and fish or swim without boats flying past you. Neighbors were friendly and our kids made friends a couple doors down to play around in the water with. Pros: Convenient location Responsive host Plenty of seating and bedding Easy water access Shallow enough to stand right at the dock Equipped kitchen with everything needed Lots of outdoor seating Cons: Bathroom setup not ideal but manageable Yard could use some maintenance - some poison ivy by walkways Lights flicker with multiple things running. Overall would stay again!

Very beautiful views and great spot on pine lake 3 facing west for great sunsets. It’s an older cottage as advertised and was priced right for the space. If you’re looking to spend time outside on the lake this is an affordable spot for a home base

A beautiful place located exactly as listed and about a mile of popular Bay Pointe Wedding Venue. Place of parking available. Our cousin group had a great time staying together instead of hotel rooms and the extra touches in nice linens, extra toiletries and stocked kitchen equipment really made the trip less stressful. No crazy "checkout chore" list either. Empty the fridge and take out the trash. Easiest one ever. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Wonderful long weekend getaway in a remote location but close enough to city amenities if you wanted to venture out. Would highly recommend for any trip you want to get out and enjoy unplugging for your time there and enjoy the company you are with

Location of the house to the lake and surroundings was excellent. Lots of summer outdoor activities. Place was well kept and VERY clean. I would stay here again.

Loved staying at The Bluegill, the house was great, the lakefront was amazing and the surrounding area was beautiful. Would highly recommend to others!

Beautiful house, with lots of space for a family. Although we didn't have kids with us, the house is set up to accommodate kids from a playpen to activities and a high chair. The kitchen was well stilocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal. Beautiful view of the lake right from the backyard!

Our stay at Matt's home was exactly what we needed to decompress. The surroundings were peaceful and nature was abundant. Highly recommend a stay here if you need to unplug.

Great place to stay and everything was accounted for in the house. Plenty of room in the house for everyone and the backyard setup and view was awesome!

Tim was responsive with minor issues and the place was lovely!! We really enjoyed the view from the dock.

Wow and I mean wow! I have traveled the globe and been on a good number of continents and this is by far the most welcoming airbnb I have ever stayed at. First of all Ruth communicated quickly in any correspondence. Secondly she was delighted by my staying at her place and was so welcoming with perks that go way above what you normally find at an airbnb. As a bird filmer her location was super! Male baltimore orioles flipped back and forth in the trees viewable form her back porch with lovely views of the forest for starters. Lush tall trees offered senrenades from warbling vireos and northern cardinals. Michigan Audubon Society Otis Farm Bird Sanctuary is only 20 min from her location! In this area my dream of a lifetime came true with beautiful views of Cerulean Warblers. When my old iphone gave up she made sure I had access to checking on my rental car etc. Super Stay! I may have even turned Ruth into a birder! LOL. Thank you Ruth!

Amazing view and nice place to stay.

Stacy was a phenomenal host. She was extremely kind, caring and helpful throughout the entire experience. we had our bachelor / bachelorette joint party there it was a great turnout. Lots of space very comfortable beds and lots for us to do. We would most certainly stay there again! Not only did we enjoy the Airbnb, but we also enjoyed the town. We stopped at the antique shop. Had breakfast at the café. Got some donuts from the bakery, went bowling, played volleyball on the Sandy Beach. We also went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner on the last day. thank you again Stacy and the owners of the Airbnb! We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have done it without you!

We travel a lot for our sons wrestling, this place was one of our favorites. Can easily accommodate a family of 4-6. The bedrooms are upstairs so if someone needs main floor they’ll want to use the couches, which are plenty wide and very comfy!! Josh was a great host, in contact right away and makes sure the temp is to your liking prior to arrival. He also allowed us late check-out so we didn’t have to feel rushed on a Holiday. We got to enjoy some fishing on the lake from shore but wasn’t quite warm enough to be on the water yet. Would highly suggest this spot for a quick summer get away!
