Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Barjols

A beautiful house in a good location, a short (but steep) walk away from Cotignac. We were welcomed in person by Véronique’s in-laws who showed us around the house. Véronique and Christophe were very responsive, even when we had an issue with malfunctioning electrics in the middle of the night. The place was very clean and freshly painted. The outdoor spaces are great for outside dining. The road is close to the house but there isn’t a lot of traffic so it doesn’t bother at night but need to be cautious with small children. The ventilation in the house could be improved to avoid a musty smell and poor air quality, especially in the second floor bedrooms.

We spent just under two weeks at the property and had a very nice time. The accommodation is surrounded by nature with a great pool to cool off. The place really offers a lot of peace and quiet. Neighbors are not directly in sight, so you have complete privacy. Shopping/restaurants can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Everything you need is in the house and the amenities are as described. A sufficient and cozy size for two people. Communication with the hosts was very easy, fast and straightforward! Due to the heat (we had 30-36 degrees every day), air conditioning would definitely be a very pleasant addition. But it worked anyway :)

We spent 6 days in this amasing villa. All was great and as described in the offer. Didier and his wife are amasing hosts, very helpfull. I would recomend this place to everybody.

Our stay was a complete success! The location is very quiet and ideal for relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable, so we could sleep wonderfully. The pool was a real highlight: large, refreshing and perfect for cooling off on warm days. The house itself is spacious and very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine…) with a large plot around it. The walk into town is quite steep, but doable. In about 20 minutes you are in the center of the beautiful village of Le Lavandou, where there are many great restaurants. Particularly noteworthy is Christine, who was quickly reachable at any time and immediately took care of everything. Merci beaucoup!

We just stayed at Lucas and Elaine's for a week. Everything went really well, from the warm welcome to the departure. Lucas and Elaine are very friendly hosts and during our stay we were able to chat and get to know each other. They were discreet, but we can only share time with them, so much, the place is enchanting and the daily exchanges brought a very friendly touch to our stay. Lucas and Elaine did everything to make our stay go smoothly. The accommodation, freshly renovated with great taste, a very well-equipped kitchen, a well-ventilated bathroom as well as quality bedding, with very wide beds. I can only recommend this place, very quiet, overlooking the lavender fields, the sunset on Mont Ventoux. Not to mention the beautiful landscapes, the market in Riez, all the charm of Provence and lovely hosts.

We had a beautiful stay at Christian and Anne’s place. We travelled with two couples, a toddler and a baby and the space was great for us. Ansouis is a quiet village with a great bakery and restaurant but within close driving distance of other villages to explore too! The pool was a great addition and we enjoyed dining in the outdoor space. Christian and Anne were really responsive with all communications and super flexible with check in and out! Thanks for sharing your place with us, we would love to return one day!

Thoroughly enjoyed exploring Cotignac- beautiful location and locals extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the village and other villages close by. Parking difficult but we managed each night to find the last space. Followed some of Cameron's recommendations for activities which we thoroughly enjoyed. Hot water bottles provided for colder nights. A unique experience that we will treasure . We had everything we needed. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity and memorable stay. A charming flat on a quiet and accessible street in beautiful Aix. Hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful. The location was easy to find and a short walk to all the great locations of Aix. The flat is sunny and bright, with a historic church right out the window. You have everything you need in this flat, and no clutter of things you don’t need. Feels like you are living in Provence (if even for a short few days). Would stay again on what will sure to be a return trip to this amazing ville.

Great place in a great location

All was great and host was always close by and available. Kitchen was well stocked to cook and make meals at home. The AC worked perfectly when we needed it. Would recommend.

We were so happy to have 3 days at Guys place ....it is perfectly positioned just a few steps from the harbour and fantastic bars and restaurants an easy walk away...I loved sitting in the window with coffee every.morning watching the port come to life and the birds swooping backwards and forwards.Highly reccomend- a special place.

A very cool apartment in an amazing location. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything, and spending the evening on the terrace.

We had a delicious weekend at Annie & Jean-Louis's! The setting is quiet, bucolic, full of charm for those who appreciate an authentic and friendly place. We really appreciated the kindness and good advice of our hosts who know the area perfectly. The amenities of the place are perfect. I highly recommend this accommodation ideally located in the heart of the Luberon.

We have perhaps 15 years of experience staying in Air BnB apartments and we can say without question that Salama is the very best host we've encountered. She took great care in designing and furnishing the apartment. It is lovely and comfortable , new and sparkling. The apartment was stocked with literally everthing we needed. Salama anticipated anything a guest might wish for and made sure to have it there. She met us when we arrived and took a good amount of time to orient us not only to the ins and outs of the apartment, but also to Aix and the surrounding area. She stocked the apartment with many helpful books and materials about the area, and made sure to mention a number of excellent restaurants in town. The apartment is in an excellent location in the center city, on a quiet street, an easy walk to everthing. It's a block and half from an inexpensive city parking garage which makes retaining a rental car trouble free. We could not have been happier with our stay.

We had a very nice stay! We were two families and the house and its layout were perfect. The garden, pool and all the little corners made our stay unbeatable. Jean Eric was a very attentive host. The day of our arrival he waited up for us until dawn (our flight was delayed). His recommendations were very accurate and he responded immediately.

We can’t say enough about this beautiful home. It was exactly as represented in the photos. The home was clean and comfortable but the absolute highlight is the view, which I will dream of or a very long time. Arthur is a kind and helpful host- we wanted for nothing. The pristine and peaceful beach is a five minute walk away and the pool is amazing! We will definitely return!

Lovely home, very clean, with a fantastic view. The indoor/outdoor living was so relaxing! House was decently well equipped with what we needed. We requested to have access to the bbq and the owner provided it, which was nice for cooking. The instructions for the driveway were clear and helpful with pictures but we never received instructions for keys and had to search for them. We appreciated the recommendations for things to check out in the area. Response times for questions were fair. Note: only 2 of 3 bedrooms have air conditioning. Overall, a beautiful home that was truly relaxing for us to spend time at. That view was unbeatable. We enjoyed our stay.

Thomas’ place was perfect for our group of 5! The place is absolutely stunning- the photos don’t even do it justice. Thomas and Dorine were both great communicators - Dorine welcomed us for an early check in despite having guests the night before. We so appreciate their flexibility and communication. Lastly- location!!! Walkable to restaurants and town and to several beach options. Can’t recommend this place enough! We’d be so lucky to come back someday.

Amazing place to stay - beautiful house and garden, very clean with lots of things to do. Very clean and well maintained - few minutes walk to a lovely little town with nice restaurabts and close to the sea. Communication with the hosts was super easy, definitely recommend!

We had a pleasant stay at Paulina's. Very welcoming house, you feel good there and very pleasant outside. Paulina is a very active host. I recommend it and we will surely organize a future family weekend in her beautiful home. Thank you Paulina

Arriving with flexible time due to traffic, was no problem. André welcomed us and showed us around, explaining everything. As a welcome a tray with wine, bubbles and snacks, and everything for the 1st breakfast, great🧡 Nothing was missing, everything was present for a pleasant stay. The house, garden, terraces and swimming pool are great; it is a Home away from Home! André lives with love, and you can feel that in the house and garden. You can walk well in the area, or make day trips to Aix, Marseille, Nice, sea, etc. Large super-U at 6km in Maximin with a great large assortment. In Maximin city center, there is a cozy square, nice shops, and many restaurants. In Seillons, there is a small bakery for bread. The old village center itself has a cafe and restaurant with terrace. We have enjoyed 3 weeks, and will definitely come back to this fantastic place in De Provence / De Var, with this Top host🙏 Alors Aux Revoir André! Ph. & Kathleen

What a charming and authentic Provençal stay! Gerard was very welcoming and even provided us with farm fresh eggs, oranges to make fresh pressed juice in the mornings. The vineyards and olive trees were a beautiful site to wake up to each morning. We enjoyed walking into the village for dinner. We strongly recommend this amazing place.
