This is the very first apartment we had decorated, and we were inspired by Barcelona itself, with its cosmopolitan and modern flair, yet at the same time being a place with a rich culture. With grey as the predominant color tone, we achieved a contemporary, stylish and elegant atmosphere. And be assured that you would not find a more centrally located flat! Don't miss out on staying at one of only six unique 'El Alma de Las Ramblas' flats, all of which are located in a recently renovated historical 19th century building We are three friends who decided to embark on this project to refurbished 6 apartments in a same building located right off of arguably Barcelona´s most emblematic street: Las Ramblas. It was important to us to turn these apartments into cozy and functional living spaces for our guests. We chose the new beds, beddings, sofas, dining tables and chairs, lamps, kitchenware and small appliances with great care and consideration (hair dryer, nespresso, kettle... internet TV and of course, wi-fi). We believe we were successful in creating an pleasant space in each of the flats- and we hope you will also agree after having spent time there. Guests have access to the entire studio. We respect the privacy of our guests and yet also would be available to provide any assistance possible that would make our guests´ stay a confortable and an enjoyable one. This apartment is located at the epic center of Barcelona, just at the beginning of this iconic street known for its myriad of activities and abundant pedestrians who have come to stroll, shop and dine in the city´s most dynamic street. Enjoy meals in a modern nook surrounded by large windows in this bright studio. When these windows are opened, the nook feels as if you were in an open balcony. The compact layout makes intuitive use of space featuring a fully stacked kitchenette. This apartment is as central as central can be! You will be able to walk* to many worthwhile sites: 1. La Boquería Market: 4 minute walk 2. Picasso Museum: 13 minute walk 3. La Pedrera: 22 minute walk 4. La Sagrada Familia: 42 minute walk 5. La Barceloneta (former fishermen´s neighborhood by BCN´s port): 25 minute walk 6. The beach: 30 minute walk 7. Etc, (You get our point;-)) (*Walking time estimates based on (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps) Or if you wished to take a taxi or public transportation (to take you within Barcelona as well as to its surrounding cities such as Girona, Sitges, etc.) both options are also easily available within less than 3 minute walk from the flat. It is also important to note that before we send you the details for checking in, it is obligatory from the local mandate that we receive a foto of your official ID, ie. Passport or National ID for EU citizens, in order to register your visit to the Catalan authority commission*. *Official Notice from the Generalitat de Catalunya It is compulsory for persons staying in accommodation establishments located in Catalonia to register there. Relaxed, Spacious Loft with Jetted Tub

A typically newyorkan style semi-loft space, the property is located in one of the very best areas in Barcelona - at walking distance from the city centre, the city’s main avenue Paseo de Gracia and Gaudi’s famous buildings. Enchanting and welcoming, the loft is divided in two main areas - a wide sitting/dining room with integrated kitchen on one hand and open space bedroom and bathroom on the other. By the way, you don't want to forget to take a nice relaxing long bath! You know why? The bathroom will surprise you with a fabulous Jacuzzi! Thick brick walls, high ceilings with fully restored rustic Catalan wooden elements add onto the property that special note of history and character that makes it unique. The deco is vintage while it benefits of great interior natural light thanks to the exterior balconies on two sides - overlooking Aribau Street. The furniture varies from vintage items to unique pieces I found in antiques markets and I then personally restored, to a few modern units - all in all giving the place a personal charm! The flat sleeps up to 4 people thanks to its very comfortable sofa bed. Nevertheless, don't forget that the space is limited and a good degree of friendship is required to share a reduced space! The flat is fully equipped and you will need to bring but your suitcase to come and enjoy your stay in Barcelona! It has all been sorted for you: bathroom towels, bedding, air/con, central heating, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dryer, etc, are included! On top of that you will find available some of the basic kitchen ingredients like milk, bread, sugar, salt, olive oil...and....surprise!...a bottle of local wine ...to get you nicely relaxed on your holiday! I am a mum of two - so should you need any baby equipment - no need to travel it over - I could help with that! Before arrival I will send you an email with my best recommendations on the local cultural and gastronomical offer. I will be happy to help you through any doubts or questions you may have about your stay - so to make sure that you truly and utterly can concentrate on just enjoying your visit! A last important note! Aribau Street is well known for its restaurants, bars and liveliness! At times it can be noisy. But no worries! The flat is fully sound proof! It is a neighborhood with a lot of life, bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.

My apartment it's located next to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, just one block away! Tourist tax is included, so no extra charges! I have given a special touch, combining the old building with a modern loft style, and my goal is that you feel at a second home. Two large glass doors allow access to the balcony that overlooks inside the residential block, so there is no traffic noise at all. It's important that you know that there is no elevator in the building and you have to go up 4 floors.

we loved staying out of the tourist chaos. Enjoyed living in a genuine spanish area with barely any tourists. We took the bus D50. used Google translate to start conversations during daytime and had fun ,interesting experiences with locals. Always felt safe in this area, and on the bus. So many wonderful food markets and cafes. Charlie's place has a great vibe. Arty. very comfortable bed. Fast dishwasher. Everything you could need in the kitchen. We found printed info, in the desk drawer (when we were leaving) haha. Highly recommended. Thankyou Charlie.

We had a wonderful time! The house has a very good location, practically in the center but in a very quiet area. It has all the comforts to make sure you lack nothing and with a very nice terrace. Everything was very tidy and clean and we felt right at home. Antonio is a very good host, he has been attentive since we arrived in case we needed anything. Highly recommended to spend a few days in the area!

We loved our 5 day stay in this apartment. Very accessible by metro, in an area with a wonderful neighborhood feel and excellent restaurants. Avoid the spots on the Carrer de Blai- there are many gems up and down the residential streets (Silvia has some great reccomendations!). The short walk to Salts is worth it for a sunset view over Barcelona.

Mireya was the kindest, loveliest host, and welcomed us so warmly for our stay, she gave us plenty of recommendations for the local area, and there was a map inside with markings of different recommendations. She allowed us to leave our suitcases with her after checkout for a bit before we went to the airport which was really kind of her. The place itself was extremely clean, perfect amenities, had everything we needed and was so ideal. The location was great also, there are multiple nearby metro stations giving access to all points of the city. A brilliant stay, with the loveliest host and would love to come again one day! x

This might be my favourite Airbnb stay so far. The property is chic, well maintained, and has tasteful decor. The architecture and layout make it feel extra special. It has all the crockery and amenities you’ll need, including a very new washing machine with detergent. Mariam, the host, was very communicative and responsive. We will definitely return.

Monteserrat is an excellent host. She was attentive to all our needs and answered me and helped me all the time. Their response was always positive.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in the heart of Gràcia. Everything felt clean, fresh, and newly remodeled. The terrace was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Despite being steps away from great restaurants, bars, and major attractions, the apartment was peaceful and quiet, like a calm retreat from the city. Sara was incredibly helpful and made everything easy. Would absolutely stay here again next time we're in Barcelona!

We had such a lovely stay at this AirB&B. it was easily accessible, big enough and at an amazing spot in Barcelona! Frank was so helpful with the AirB&B as well as tips for the neighbourhood. really friendly and quick to response! The AirB&B was shared but it didn't feel like we didn't have privacy! it had a super cute shower on the balcony which could cool you off on a hot summer day. we couldn't have wished for a better location or space for our vacation! really recommend, also if you're travelling for work or if you're a student!!
