Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

The Way Inn--oceanfront retreat on the boardwalk.

The Way Inn is a delightful wheelchair accessible waterfront bungalow at the mouth of the Inlet, next door to the general store where you can grocery shop or have them cook a quick meal or snack. Private dock with available moorage (from early-May to late October, please see below) right on the boardwalk with easy access to Brady's Beach. Located on a desirable section of the boardwalk, just steps away from the government dock, where you can arrive on the MV Frances Barkley ship.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

We value connection to nature above all else. Peace Cabin is a waterfront escape on Ucluelet inlet, on a large private lot of old-growth trees. We designed it quite differently from other places you may have stayed-this is a capsule to recharge yourself from the busyness of your day-to-day life. You'll love the silence, the birdlife, proximity to coastal hiking trails, surf beaches, and the National Park.
