A wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend. Close to the city and walkable to downtown Bethesda with great shops and restaurants. Hannah was very communicative and helpful. The place was utterly charming and romantic.

This unit is detached from the main house but connected by a covered walkway. The common area, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms are as described in the listing. It was a very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and peaceful space. We remarked several times while there that it was very enjoyable and that it would be a find place to return in the future.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The space was exactly as described. Ingrid was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and relaxing stay.

Felt like a home-away-from-home! So much more than a hotel room. Very peaceful area with a very good view. Bed was comfortable. It was obvious that Pam cares about her clients I will be recommending this to others.

This air bnb was a slice of paradise. The view is the water was breathtaking. The hosts left a lovely breakfast bread for us. Everything about this stay felt like a comforting hug. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Glen’s place on Kent Island. The view was stunning. That was my favorite part, just sitting outside having coffee and enjoying that gorgeous water view in peace and tranquility. We started off with a little bit of a hiccup, but I truly appreciated their response and taking care of it quickly. Life isn’t always perfect, but it’s how you respond to those situations that make all the difference. We ultimately had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property to our friends

Absolutely loved the carriage house, it was exactly what i expected and I’d 100% stay there again. The location was perfect and having a parking spot was so convenient. We didn’t cook or anything so i can’t review much on that but everything we would’ve needed was there if we had. Loved the security of the locked gate and the bed and linens were so so comfy, it was hard to get out of bed it was that comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back in town.

We really enjoyed the caretaker's cottage located within minutes of our family gathering nearby. We appreciate the efforts made by John and Fiona to retain the historic authenticity and charm of the property while adding some 21st century amenities. The only regret is that we did not accept the offer of fresh eggs from their henhouse. Perhaps next time...

I can’t say enough about how gorgeous this listing is and how amazing the host were. It was extremely peaceful; while you’re in essentially their guest house you have all of the privacy you may need. They have everything you need for a good stay or even a long stay. As a fellow Super host I agree this is a super listing. It’s a little far from the city, but the beautiful neighborhood all of the gorgeous trees and homes make up for the commute. I’d stay with them again anytime.

The bed is probably the most important thing for us when choosing a rental. The master bedroom bed was excellent. The second bedroom, not so much. But if you don’t have back issues, it’s ok. We are really bed snobs 🥺

Alma’s place was fully renovated, beautiful finishes, gorgeous floors, super comfortable beds and impecable bathrooms. Kitchen was modern and had everything needed for cooking. Excellent location and walking distance grocery store. Alma was friendly and promptly answer all of our questions. She also allowed us to leave our luggage before check in time. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!

Enjoyed a great stay here during World Pride! Very walkable to the Metro. Felt safe walking around late at night. Space was clean with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend!

This place is almost indescribable - the beauty of the 180 acre holding, full of exquisite and well treated thoroughbreds. The cottage is scenically located amidst all the green grass and fencing with the white cottage, as well as a number of other white outbuildings. The setting is very tranquil and the lack of city noise creates and atmosphere where silence is priceless. The bed was very spacious and comfortable with a window that allowed me to gaze out at the land from the moment I opened my eyes.

5 stars for sure! The detached garage was even nicer than the photos! The neighborhood was so peaceful and had coffee just a short walk away. Rams Head on Stage was a blast of a concert venue too! We really enjoyed staying here. The location worked for the event we were attending. We loved the bedroom and the beds. Very comfortable. There were items that could have been better, but not enough to take away from our stay (I've worked at a 5 Diamond Hotel for 5+yrs), so I look at other things too. My friends had no issues. We didn't have an opportunity to enjoy the deck or lovey yard. Note: carrying luggage up and down the stairs might be an issue for some people. Tayo was gracious enough to assist my friend with her luggage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

The home was comfortable, easily accessible and great for the price. host was incredibly friendly and responsive and was willing to help with anything. Will definitely rent this home again if we're in the area

Our stay in DC could not have been more enjoyable. Everything was clean, thought out, and the location is ideal. The space is curated to be simple yet have everything you may need or want. Just close enough to the national mall for a quick bike ride. And private enough for low noise and safety. The recommendations from Chris were appreciated. Our host was very responsive. 10 out of 10, would book again.

Peaceful, bucolic accommodations, close to areas in Northern VA and DC especially if traveling by car.

Absolutely loved staying here, I thought my little would appreciate the loft and he sure did. He was obsessed hanging out in there 😂 it was adorable. It was only about 15 to get to the capital and we went bright and early to beat the crowds and then hung out the early afternoon to the night it was amazing! Instructions covered everything, just be sure to read 🤣 Honestly I used to manage str’s so I will say I can be rather flexible especially if something does come up that I know to be a common issue or just a super like specific/ independent opinion. But literally nothing came up(: Great stay! Would 100000% come back if I needed a place in the area!

Farida’s garden suite was an urban oasis! It’s in a gorgeous neighborhood on a coveted street in DC, equidistant between two avenues that have grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, the metro - basically everything you need within a 1/2 mile. Farida was very friendly, communicative, and hospitable, and she addressed any and all of my questions promptly. The suite is charming, the bed is very comfortable, and the space is light-filled and quiet. I loved my stay and hope to return soon!

Great place! Within walking distance to so much plus the public transport so really you are only 15 minutes from anywhere. The place was clean, private and had enough space for three. The bed was comfortable. Melinda was very communicative and responsive to our messages. Melinda was very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations. We had a great time in DC and this place will be a go to when we come back.

Lovely home, spacious apartment, great neighborhood. This was our first time staying in Columbia Heights and we really liked how quiet it is while still being central and extremely walkable. 10 out of 10 would come back to this Airbnb!
