Robyn's property is a real gem, especially for the angler , quite peaceful location right next to the lough , bawnboy itself is only a 10 min walk which has a local shop and the keepers arms , short drive to the larger town of ballinamore , full of restaurants bars and a Tesco , with in easy driving distance to lots of sights in Cavan , Leitrim and Fermanagh - Robyn is very friendly and his two Labrador dogs are awesome , the property itself was spotless with everything you could want for a home from home - I'll be going back for sure

If you have visions of spending time in a cottage in a small Irish village, this is the place! Beautiful, comfortable, and inspirational! Walkable to the train line which runs from Dublin to Sligo so very convenient. A lovely get away.

Lakeland Lodge, single and double beds available

Mary TeresaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay in this Airbnb over the bank holiday weekend. The Airbnb is right beside Concepta and Justin’s house but feels very private with views out to the fields and a separate entrance. The beds were very comfortable, as was the sofa for watching Tv in the evening. The property felt spacious enough for 2 people and had everything we needed. The hosts guidebook was really useful and both Concepta and Justin were happy to provide some local recommendations. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay that’s a short drive local villages and 20-30mins from both Cavan and Enniskillen.

Helen's cottage was absolutely fantastic, honestly felt like a home away from home, clean comfortable and had everything a family of 4 needed. Helen as a host was excellent, very responsive and very helpful. Definitely will be visiting again

A beautiful presented and comfortable home which we really enjoyed albeit it was a short stay but a very memorable holiday. The property is ideal for visiting local attractions and we thoroughly enjoyed days out at Florence court and the wonderful and magical Marble Caves. Looking forward to our return visit. Thanks Sean

Vista Hut - Shepherd's Hut & Outdoor Hot Tub

RyanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
First thing I'll say, the place was spotless. This is a huge deal for us because in most places there's always a surprise. Nothing of the sort here. Amanda was seriously helpful and easy to communicate with. Her instructions were extremely clear and very informative. The hut is very small, but makes amazing use of the space. The bed folds down from the wall after securing the table. Hot tub was easy to light and use and keeps the heat really well, especially overnight. Once lit, make sure it is filled with wood so that it continues to burn and heat the water. Nearest town is a ten minute drive. It did help that we knew the area already, but it's relatively easy to navigate and the maps on your phone will get you right where you need to be. Pack light, and expect to have a very relaxing time here.
