Flora June Farms

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The absolute BEST Air BnB we’ve ever stayed in! The pictures do not do this place justice. And we will be back again. In a nutshell we spent the entire time drinking coffee in the hot tub and only got out to eat meals or sit by the outdoor fireplace. This is a bit of heaven on earth. The kitchen has everything you could need or want. It’s extremely clean. And you feel right at home, right away.

Serene Riverfront Cabin w/ Fire Pit

EleeseRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We recently stayed at this beautiful cabin, and it was truly a serene escape! The views overlooking the treetops and river were breathtaking, and the pictures matched exactly what we experienced. Our host was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We encountered a couple of hiccups at the beginning, but he promptly addressed them and kept in touch daily to make sure everything was going smoothly. The cabin itself was modern and well-equipped, with incredibly comfortable beds that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Being about 45 minutes north of Asheville gave us the perfect secluded vibe we were looking for. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature!

Pisgah Highlands Tree House * No cleaning fee*

KyleRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I had a great time at the tree house. It is a perfect and peaceful stay if you’re looking to unplug. The instructions to get there are clear and I was able to find it easy, even at night. I recommend preloading or saving the directions because you will lose service before you get to boxturtle rd.

French Broad RiverSide Retreat, Marshall

MimiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Peace on the French Broad ! My first river vacation and this was the right spot. You have to be aware it is in the path of the flood, however the owners have this place looking like it didn’t happen . The interior looks brand new , yard and landscape was awesome, kitchen was fantastic, couch comfy ( I slept my first night there with the windows open) , talk about perfection. You saw the neighbors still dealing with rebuilding , you knew the heartbreak felt by the Community . Visited Marshall to Shop for at the Co-Op, leaving our hearts full of snacks, vitamins and bedding plants. The bench by the riverbank was the best seat in the house. I honestly didn’t eat a single meal inside, the porch was the dining room, great for moon watching . The kid in me watched the train go by- who doesn’t love trains. I would definitely book with Billy again! Thanks again for sharing such a wonderful house!

Romantic Cabin-10 Acres Hottub

KatieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is a great place to stay if you're wanting a secluded and romantic getaway. It's the kind of place where if it rained the whole time you're there (like it did for us), you wouldn't care because it's so cozy and well-equipped. Plus, the sound of rain on the metal roof is soothing. The owners have done a great job with the decor and all of the thoughtful touches. Keep in mind that if you're planning on making a visit to downtown Marshall part of your vacation, many of the reviews you'll find online of downtown are pre-hurricane Helene. The town (and most of the restaurants and shops) were destroyed. They had started to rebuild when we were there (April), but almost nothing was open yet. So, check before you go.

Annie the Airstream | Mountain view & Goats!

BraxtonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Annie and Willow Roots Homestead is the most charming Airbnb we have had the pleasure to grace to date! This was our last stop on our week-long honeymoon road trip and it was the perfect location for a few deep breaths. We originally booked just one night, but within an hour of check out I messaged Cheree and we had another night booked just like that (and at a discount)! She and her husband were both so responsive and friendly- available at the drop of a hat, but gave us our space too. We felt entirely alone on the homestead when we wanted to! we had fresh eggs at breakfast our first morning and picked some onions and greens from the garden and baked a pizza over the camp fire for dinner. we walked around the Homestead and enjoyed some hang time in the sky net, and of course spent a little time with the goats! we will 100% be back and are super excited and even feel a little invested in what they are doing with their precious place. we look forward to seeing what is next for them!
