The house/bungalow lies in a nice quiet area which is cool for walking around. You can go to the lake in 10 minutes. The beds were also nice. We were three people but six people could also be doable. Kitchen was well equipped. The place is close to a lot of nice sightseeing (In car). Can highly recommend this airbnb.

Quite small but luxurious. The kitchen had all we needed. Far from the centre but quiet surroundings.

We had a wonderful time with 2 small children, 10/10. Easy access. The house is very tastefully furnished, everything was there, everything is as in the photos. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful, it is actually a smaller forest, beautiful and well-kept, surrounded all around. The kids really enjoyed being able to interact with the animals on a regular basis. Petra is a great host, always quick and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back.

A great place to stay for a quiet and active vacation - perfect location in a very quiet area. The house is brand new, beautiful, clean and very stylish! I recommend!!! I also appreciate the communication with the host, which was great. 2 bedrooms for 2 couples, we had a private one. Terrace overlooking the garden, including a barbecue. Parking in the backyard. I really recommend the stay.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

We felt completely comfortable in the Füge-Vendégház. The location and the panorama delighted us. The house is very cozy and spacious. The terrace offers both sunny and shady spots – ideal for relaxing. The garden is wonderfully green, with lots of trees and plants. The pool is sufficiently large and was always very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed linen pleasant and beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean and well usable. The location is excellent: Several wine terraces are nearby and are also within walking distance. Lake Balaton (Alsóörs beach) is a 5-minute drive. The view from the upper terrace of the lake is fantastically beautiful, especially in the evening. The hostess and the host were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back anytime!

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Uncle Paul’s place in Balatonfüred. It truly felt like visiting family. Uncle Paul speaks excellent English and is incredibly knowledgeable, not just about wine, but also about local history, plants, and culture. He welcomed us with such kindness: picking us up from the train station (even with our two huge suitcases!), treating us to wine tasting while sharing his deep knowledge of Hungarian wines - how they’re made, where they come from, and what goes into them. He also generously offered us homemade Hungarian fish soup, fresh fruits and nuts from his garden, and even took time to drive us to beautiful Tihany. Uncle Paul has travelled to many countries and shared fascinating stories that kept us smiling and laughing. We drank together, sang together, danced together, and had the most wonderful holiday. Three nights were far too short, we left with full hearts and lovely memories. Thank you, Uncle Paul!

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

We recently stayed at a beautiful cozy country home in Hungary with the whole family, and it was a wonderful experience. Each of us had our own room, all of which were beautifully furnished and had their own bathrooms. The large living room and dining room provided plenty of space for us to relax and enjoy meals together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, especially the pool and whirlpool, which were great for both relaxation and fun. The kids loved the trampoline and had plenty to keep them entertained. Overall, this vacation home was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We look forward to visiting again!

This place is a real gem... hidden away, not far from Balaton lake. Great restaurants and facilities nearby! Pool was great, jacuzzi was great. Peter and his wife were lovely and super helpful with great recommendations. We loved staying here and we're very sad to leave!

My family and I had an excellent time staying at Marta’s place. The pool, hot tub, ping pong table and foosball table were just some of the highlights. We loved the extensive amount of outdoor living space. Some days we used the outdoor grill and even made a porkolt over the gas burner which was already full of gas for our use. We had a few ants in one of the bedrooms and Marta was quick to send somebody over to rectify the situation. Lucky for us the house had enough bedrooms where this was a non issue. My son accidentally broke the glass of one of the kitchen cabinet doors and Marta was very easy to deal with it. I would highly recommend this place again and would consider staying again if my family and would re visit the Balaton. Thank you Marta for the great stay.

Tamas was a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment was really well equipped and gave us everything we needed. Our dogs really enjoyed the access to the garden. A very pleasant stay

The house is really nicely furnished and it has everything you need. It's really small and probably a bit cramped for very large or many people. It worked for us. The bikes are great!

This apartment truly matches its photos, featuring two separate rooms that open onto a small patio. It's located within walking distance of the lake and restaurants. A supermarket and public washing machine are just two minutes away. Car is recommended for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas, but you can also use the near train station to get to other cities. We loved our vacation here.

it was a nice house with everything we needed. we stayed with our 2 kids (2 and 5 years) they had a great time in the garden and the Legos in the drawers were also a succes. Netflix was also available and Peter was a great host. The trains wasnt a problem the small ones just startet to shout tuuut tuuut every time a train passed by. Lidl is close as well all in all we had a great time 😊

The flexible 'check-in' as well as the flexible 'check-out' were very good for us, which we had a long journey. The personal account cat at check-in and the explanation of the house, the house and pool technology were great and greatly contributed to a great and relaxed holiday start. You could just feel comfortable in this property. The view over Lake Balaton and the great sunsets - you can go on vacation. The tips in the Carolin and Geoff area were very helpful. The infrastructure in Balatonfützfö is also overly good. Conclusion: A repeated vacation with the use of this great accommodation is not excluded from our point of view.

Dina's place is an island of tranquility. It was wonderful to have coffee with birds chirping in the morning and talking by the fire in the evening. The place was clean and well-equipped.

As a family with 3 children between 6 and 13 years old and a dog, we had a great stay and felt very comfortable. The vacation home is individually designed, clean and very well equipped all around. There was nothing missing. Absolutely sufficient kitchen with new and modern appliances and even a dishwasher. A great bathroom with a washing machine and modern shower. Everything very clean. Eva and Attila were very nice, very hospitable and uncomplicated hosts, who also let us participate in homemade Hungarian specialties and surprised us with a huge plate of pancakes etc. We felt free and comfortable. It was ideal for people with dogs. Very dog-friendly and you could even leave the dog alone on the huge property and not have to worry. Lake Balaton and the beach or banks are 1-2 minutes away. Just across the street.

They are not only incredibly nice and accommodating, but also a real treasure trove of valuable tips for the area. Thanks to their recommendations, we discovered great restaurants and explored beautiful places in the vineyards that we might have otherwise missed. The location in the vineyards is simply idyllic and offers wonderful tranquility. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

The house was fully as described and pictured. Just an awesome view from the terrace on the 1st and 2nd floors. Silence, birds singing, well-maintained grounds - all you need for a good vacation. The house had absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you very much to the host, everything is very comfortable and beautiful, we had a very good rest! Definitely recommend it!
