Vacation rentals with lake access in Badin Lake

Absolute perfect place for a long weekend getaway. House was perfect with so much to do inside and out. We definitely plan to stay again thru the years when visiting family. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

We had a fun time and wished we could stay longer. Greg’s home is really clean and has fun games and a well-stocked kitchen. We would love to come again.

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

Adorable home with a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porch was lovely and where we spent most of our time at the house. We grilled two of the three evenings and went into nearby Albemarle one night for dinner. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Please keep in mind, if you are bringing a boat, make sure you bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is very steep, and we had to park in the gravel at the top of the hill.

Stay was great, bedd was comfy, house stayed comfortable temp. Main porch was very comfortable to sit and relax and listen to the wildlife, very little boat traffic (less than half a dozen) over the two days. Lots of birds including cardinals, herons and a family of yellow warblers in the Owl birdhouse on the back deck. House was immaculate. Kitchen clean including the refrigerator, and lots of pots and pans and other supplies. Microwave and stove worked. Bring your spices if you plan on cooking. Would stay here again, very attentive hosts, and quite responsive. Richard

What an absolute treat to get to stay on Tanglewood Property during the Festival of Lights! We stayed the night before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Peyton gave us great instructions on how to get into the park via the back entrance and we had no problems with entry or exit. It was so quiet and the place was very comfortable. We walked all around Tanglewood and felt like we had a mini-vacation just a few miles from our son's home. We are already trying to figure out when we can go there again!

Jane was wonderful to communicate with. Our stay was amazing, and she was very accommodating to our needs or requests even prior to booking. She had everything you need, plenty of sleep space, and CLEAN! If you need a nice peaceful weekend getaway, dont hesitate to book!

Selden was a great host! He communicated quickly, checked in on me, and made adjustments to the temperature quickly. The space is great and perfect for one or two people. It was clean and had everything I needed. The check-in was easy and the instructions were spot on. I stayed at Selden's place for 9 weeks and would stay there again as well as recommend it to everyone.

Rob was professional, hospitable and respectful. A true gentleman who I wouldn’t think twice about wanting to stay with again.

It doesn't get much better than this. The view, the accommodations, fresh fruit, muffins and yogurt await you when you arrive. The apartment is well furnished, the bed is comfortable, and the view cannot be beat! Kim and Rainer couldn't have been more pleasant. We will be back!

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

This lake house was just perfect! From beginning to end, the stay was awesome. The house has everything you could possibly want or need. We looooved the outdoor space! Beautiful deck with lots of sitting room, lights, and fans. The hot tub was so awesome! Super nice fire pit area. A nice dock extending into deep lake water. We visited several local towns around the lake and were blown away with how friendly everyone was. We got all of our groceries at Perry’s Produce, a local produce stand; including meats and even butter and coffee creamer. We went to a vineyard nearby, and Morrow Mountain Stare Park for a beautiful hike with breathtaking views of the mountains. The area and the beautiful, cozy house with lots of amenities made this lake vacation one of the best we’ve had!

Thank you for being a great host. We enjoyed our 4 day stay. Your cottage was inviting and relaxing. We enjoyed fishing at the lake, viewing the scenery and meeting honey, your beautiful cat. Looking forward to our next trip.

Great little place! Easy to get to, far enough out to be quiet but not too far from the main roads. It was nice to sit out on the swings and relax.

This is my second stay at Pamela’s. I wanted some relaxation and peace in a pretty, quiet location close(ish) to home. The Sunny Cottage delivers. Gail had it super clean when I arrived. It rained/stormed the first 2 days I was there and that was perfectly fine because the cottage had everything I needed to make some meals and have some down time. Once the rain moved out, I got out on some local trails and onto the SUP at the super close neighborhood boat landing. This place is a gem and I call first dibs if Pamela ever decides to sell ;)
