This is a magical location. Extremely private with terrific ocean front. A perfect view of Sea Wolf Island National Refuge. Lots of birds with eagles seen ever day. You'll have miles of beach to explore -never saw another person. The amenities are true luxury. Everything you would ever need to prepare meals was there. Andrew was a perfect host.

My family and I had a great stay at Laura's Landing. The place was so clean and we loved the layout of the house. We had everything we needed and enjoyed BBQing on the deck and taking a short walk down to the beach. The beds and linens were also really comfortable,clean and "hotel quality." If we're back in the area, we would definitely consider booking there again. One thing to note was that the hot water wasn't quite hot enough and shower pressure not strong enough for my liking but otherwise, absolutely no complaints! Thanks Daphne 😊

Laura’s home was exactly as described, very clean and had all the amenities you need. It is in a beautiful picturesque bay with incredible views - so peaceful and a great place to recharge. There are several options to enjoy the outdoors from a screened sunroom to an outdoor deck to chairs on the dock or around the fire pit. We made a day trip to Louisbourg Fort which is very close by and definitely worth the drive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Thanks Laura!

We had such a great time! Loved being able to walk to the waterfront (caught the northern lights there one night!) As well as to town. The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh was a highlight of our trip. Our group appreciated the multiple methods of caffeination offered at the cottage; the kitchen was well equipped, and our beds were very comfy! Thanks again!

Had a great week! The unit was stocked with everything we needed, absolutely spotless. Loved the book, that had the history and things to do in Cheticamp. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back again one day.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Ruth’s home. It had everything we needed and more! Close to the bakery which had amazing baked goods. We met Ruth and Dan, had a long chat. They are both very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them! Great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again!

You will love this beautiful home and this beautiful coastal town! The home is decorated and provided with the cutest and coziest of touches! It’s spotlessly clean with a lovely view.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s cabin! We came during the off season so the town itself was quiet, but Mark gave us many recommendations for visiting neighboring towns if we wanted. There is also a community trail below the property, which was easy to access from the cabin, for walks into town or into the woods. Overall it was a great getaway spot to unwind, enjoy the forest, and cook good homemade meals. Mark is also a great host! He was super responsive over text and offered to give us a tour of the house/property at check-in (which we were happy to accept). We would be more than happy to stay again, next time we find ourselves in the area!

The space at Ashley’s place is a self contained large basement walkout with two very nice bedrooms, a spacious comfy living area with TV and a convenient setup with mini fridge, microwave and tea and coffee supplies. Very thoughtful little details throughout. We had two deer join us in the yard! Ashley allowed us to use her deck for a picnic dinner which was greatly appreciated. Lovely property about 12 minutes from Antigonish and about 30 minutes to Cape Breton.

We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

Stayed here for the weekend on a ski trip ! This place was awesome for our group, had 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen, good size living room with 2 bathrooms! The pool would be awesome in the summer, beautiful view & definitely a good value for the cost. Would stay again !

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed but still quiet and peaceful at night. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Lovely location - even though it was cool, we made a point of sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful view. (Which we could also appreciate as soon as we woke in the morning). We had one very minor issue with the toilet and Janet responded immediately to resolve it.

Can't say enough about Jay and this place - this has been one of my favourite AirBnb experiences to date. The property is expansive and stunning, with beautiful walkable charming footpaths through the woods to the ocean, and a real sense that Jay stewards over the land with love. The little cabin feels spacious, cozy, uncluttered, homey, and private. Attention to detail like the tone of the lights/ambience, woodland themes while maintaining a fresh, clean and tidy space. I can see how this place would be a welcome reprieve at any time of year and look forward to returning. Jay's hospitality is second to none as well!!

Our first time in Inverness and absolutely not our last. This place was incredible! John was a wonderful, responsive host and his home is on the most beautiful property. So peaceful and private with a view beyond words. We also went to 2 of his local restaurant recommendations (The Annex was excellent). Can’t wait to come back.

We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

Absolutely stunning - my husband and I stayed here for three nights and couldn’t get over the view. We watched the sunset from three different locations each night … all beautiful. That alone would make this place a must stay, but layered on top are gorgeous accommodations with all the modern touches! Can’t wait to visit again.

You can’t beat the location. We stayed here for three nights to see the east side of the Cabot Trail and hike. Easy walk around town to shops, restaurants and the market. Highwheeler Bakery had great pastries and he marked up a map for us. Lori checked in with us to see if everything was okay, which it was. Everything was clean and the place was adequately stocked. Parking right by the door is a plus. We would stay here again.
