Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bad Sooden-Allendorf

First of all, we were greeted very kindly by Ms. Hedwig. The handover went smoothly and we felt very well looked after right away. We particularly liked the welcome gift in the modern and clean apartment. The apartment itself has a small terrace in the entrance area and a balcony in the apartment area. The living area with kitchen is very large, so the four of us had plenty of space. The apartment is very quietly located in a rural area. The stay here made the special occasion perfect. Thanks very much for that!

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were 2 couples with 3 toddlers. The property is well suited for this. There is another large room in addition to the one booked, which we would recommend. Then you have a large dining room in addition. Only the stairs are dangerously steep, especially for the small children, but also for adults. With a large garden and the possibility of grilling. Otherwise everything was great, we felt very comfortable. :-)

A beautiful place to relax & explore. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of love for detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

The house was rented by our employees for the duration of their work in the area. This is another stay at Eva's and once again everything was as described – the property was clean, well-equipped and prepared for arrival. The employees were satisfied with the conditions of their stay. Contact with the host as always trouble-free and fast. We are fully satisfied – thank you and we definitely recommend it!

We stayed here for four nights and immediately felt comfortable. Very good kitchen equipment awaited us. Overall, the furniture was great, the small garden made us happy. We also slept very well. Even the accompanying dog was not an issue. An all-round successful break with a final Sunday breakfast in the in-house café. It was very tasty and quite lush as well as lovingly prepared. I'm happy to recommend the place.

The vacation home was extremely child-friendly. There was plenty of space to play, a safe environment and child-friendly amenities that made the stay very pleasant. The cleanliness was also excellent – all rooms were well maintained and tidy. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely recommend the vacation home!

We had a very pleasant stay at Jasmine's apartment. This is quiet, many sights of Eisenach such as Bachhaus or Drachenschlucht are within walking distance. The small welcome attentions immediately contributed to making us feel comfortable. Thanks also for the many helpful tips on excursions, museums or restaurants.

Judith's house is located directly on various hiking trails and within a 5-minute walk to the tram. The perfect place to explore the area and the Kaufungen Forest. Königsalm and Niester Riesen are close by, Kaufungen itself is very cute, definitely worth a look! The adventure brickyard diagonally opposite the tram is also worth seeing. The apartment was as described and an excellent home base for us. The huge dining table and the view of the countryside, the super comfortable bed, the fireplace, the patio in front of the kitchen with a beautiful seating area... Thank you dear Judith, for this great weekend!

The first impression on arrival was very positive! Cornelia welcomed us in a friendly way and provided us with all the information for our weekend stay. The apartment is lovingly and completely furnished. It was a cozy feel-good atmosphere that invites you to come back.

We spent 4 nights in the apartment with our two daughters and started activities in the area from there. Access was with a numerical code, which meant that we did not have to commit to or arrange an arrival time. Everything we needed was to be found in the apartment. The beds, especially the duvets, were very comfortable. All windows had fly screens so we could watch the bats hunting with the window open. The couch was large enough for 4 people, but the TV was on the narrow wall, which was somewhat impractical. For this purpose, an extensive television and streaming program (Rakuten, Prime and other apps and media libraries) etc. was available. The area has a lot to offer for all ages and nature is beautiful. Kassel can also be reached quickly.

It was a lovely stay, Verena was very accommodating and helpful and the flat is extremely sweet. The area is very rural and good for walking and hiking.

David was a gracious host and very responsive. His clear enthusiasm for the area shines through in his guidebook and recommendations. We loved spending a long weekend here and hope to be back someday. A great option for families with small children especially.

The place met all our expectations. We were warmly welcomed, the apartment was excellent in all respects. In particular, the quiet and natural location of the beautiful half-timbered house was very accommodating to us. And yet the center of the city of Kassel is very quick to reach - also by public transport. The 4 nights convinced us to definitely book Moritz's apartment again. Thanks for the hospitality!! Fantastic apartment in a great environment. We spent 2 nights here with our two children (3 and 8) and explored Fritzlar, the National Park and Kassel Wilhelmshöhe from there. The playground right next to the house was particularly liked by the children and Wolfgang and Simone are great hosts! The old rectory is beautiful! We will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable and well cared for. Ulrike got back to us quickly with questions and the apartment was clean. Restaurants and, for example, the Samson pit were within walking distance and there was a folder with tips and suggestions for activities. The guest cards were also taken care of. Clear recommendation!

We had a great weekend in Göttingen and in Carla's apartment with five friends. The apartment was a perfect fit for us. Quiet location, spacious, equipped with everything you need. Olivia is a great host. We found her apartment exactly as described. It is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. It has everything you need in a vacation apartment to feel comfortable. In addition, Olivia provides her guests with toiletries, some basic food items if shopping was not possible, and a delicious 🍷 wine. We can recommend the apartment without reservation, free parking is available and the residential area is totally quiet and relaxing. After our hikes nearby, we were able to sleep like a log. We spent a week in Olivia's apartment and could have stayed longer. It was our first visit to Bad Sachsa and certainly not the last. Good infrastructure ensures a comfortable stay. We will be happy to come back and thank 🙏 Olivia for the lovely stay. 🤩👍🏼

We booked Andrea's place with little notice as we had to visit a sick friend who lived in Göttingen. Andrea confirmed immediately and gave clear instructions on how to get in. The place was super clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. The neighbourhood is very quiet and lovely to walk around. We stayed just two nights but enjoyed our stay. Andrea is a lovely host and we certainly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Göttingen.
