We found the beautiful spacious, very clean and cozy apartment with well-maintained amenities, as described in the listing. The apartment is equipped with everything needed. The contact with the hosts was cordial and possible at all times. The view of the magnificent garden immediately put you in a good mood. An absolute insider tip for vacationers, as the surroundings can also be quickly reached and explored. We were very satisfied with everything and felt very comfortable. A clear recommendation! We had a great weekend in the apartment and felt right at home :) Scarlett contacted us in advance to discuss details and we were allowed to check out flexibly on the last day. The apartment is comfortably furnished and is very well equipped. Within walking distance are the Externstein, the Eggebad, supermarkets and, fortunately, the ice cream parlor. We highly recommend staying here😊

Beautiful apartment, exactly as described. Stylish and nicely furnished. Sparkling clean. Well equipped, so you don't have to get unnecessary utensils even for a short stay. Nice terrace. The apartment is in a pleasant residential area, yet you can walk to the center in five minutes. Good restaurants nearby. The area also has plenty to offer. Nice and friendly contact with the landlords. We were kindly allowed to check out a little later than planned. We highly recommend it.

I immediately felt comfortable in Thomas and Anja's beautiful apartment! The communication was great and I was picked up from the main station: I thought that was super nice! :) The apartment was very clean and cleaning supplies/ vacuum cleaners were also available if you want to clean in between. Enough cooking utensils and pans, etc. I had enough shelves and wall hooks to organize everything (including a large closet!) The location is quiet but super practical: in 5 minutes' walk there is a shopping mall with supermarkets, drugstore and much more :) Several bus stops are also nearby. Thanks again and see you next time please!

I spent a long weekend with my sister in Kim's apartment and had a wonderful time! Kim welcomed us very warmly and was also available at any time during the stay. The apartment is larger than it looks in the photos and very lovingly furnished. There is everything you need in terms of basic equipment. We enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home. Due to the presence of personal belongings, this home feels like "home". Some things are a little outdated and a little less clean, but the openness of the house and the beautiful garden make it all good. Oliver was very easy to reach and our problem with cold water was quickly solved (even on a holiday/Saturday). The region is also very beautiful for walks and bike rides. Highly recommended.

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

After 2023, we were finally in this wonderful house for the second time, where you can feel the spirit of over 300 years. We - and also the children - felt absolutely comfortable. In order not to write too much, here is a short list of the many highlights: - very high-quality and thoughtful amenities - Great room layout and perfectly restored original half-timbered style - wonderfully close to nature with river access on the property. You can watch rare birds, deer and raccoons and enjoy almost untouched nature - calm and friendly neighbourhood - a perfect place to relieve the stress of the big city - The stunning Externsteine are close by In short: A perfect place!

The apartment is completely beautiful! Modern and high-quality furnishings and it has everything you need. Markus and his family are very nice and hospitable, so we felt completely comfortable during our short vacation in Detmold. We will be happy to come back! P.S.: The only challenge to the location is the extremely steep approach by car (steepest road Detmolds), which is certainly not for everyone (but the courage is rewarded with a fantastic view😉).

We really enjoyed our stay. We went to Bielefeld to visit my wife's sister who is in college. The accommodation is perfectly located: close to the city center, close to the university, close to a very nice park. It is in a pretty and quiet, residential area. The apartment is very nice, functional and very well-equipped. It's perfect for a family with kids. We appreciated the communication with the owners who really sought to make our stay easier. To park the car, parking on nearby streets is limited in duration (3h) and paying, but we were able to park on a street about 600m away and it was unlimited and free. We highly recommend this home!

Apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail. There is nothing missing, on the contrary, even coffee and tea or some things you need in the bathroom. In the apartment, you immediately forget that you are in a backyard area. In the living room, you can comfortably watch TV or chill. We found the beds excellent. For a strong physique, the shower could be a little bigger, but you get by and everything works. In any case, we felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the apartment. Such a clean and well-equipped apartment can rarely be found. The only downside is perhaps the lack of parking, right in front of the apartment, but we were able to find a parking space just under 100 m away to bring the luggage from there on a comfortable footpath to the apartment. It went really well and the specified parking garage is great and can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot and is cheap.

Nice, clean, small apartment, well connected. Hossam communicates very friendly and responsive. Very well equiped kitchen. Comfortable bed! If you are sensitive to the street: pack earplugs. The smart home is very convenient, as you do not have to hand over keys :-)
