Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

The newly renovated apartment is located in the east of Eisenach, in the green and quiet Karolinental. On foot, you need 15 minutes to the old town and 10 minutes to the train station. Eisenach's sights, such as the Wartburg and the Drachenschlucht, are easily accessible. We offer you: a separate small kitchen (fully equipped with fridge, microwave, ceramic hob) and a bathroom with tub, as well as a room with a new box spring bed (140 × 200 cm), TV, Wi-Fi, large wardrobe and seating for dining.

Spacious apartment near the MAIN TRAIN STATION

The place was well located, about 15 minutes' walk from the main train station, and a few houses away was a bus stop. Unlike the listing, there was WiFi and a washing machine in the apartment. There were several shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Excursions to the Wartburg or to the nearby hiking trails, such as the Landgrafenschlucht, could be easily reached by bus. For a new visit to Eisenach, I would stay at this property again.

Roswitha and her family (including the super nice dog) gave us the opportunity to check in earlier and then warmly welcomed us. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. Everything was available for cooking and the dishwasher took over the dishes. We felt like at home at Roswitha's place. A bakery is right next door, a small organic shop three and the Edeka about ten minutes away on foot. In twelve minutes uphill we were at the jumps. From Brotterode, you can quickly get everywhere in the Thuringian Forest by car. We were able to park directly at the property. There are also regional bus services, but we have not tested them. We would definitely come back if it suits.

A dining table is set with plates, cups, and saucers arranged for four. Light-colored cutlery complements the simple, modern dishes. A napkin featuring a welcoming message is placed neatly on each plate, creating a warm and inviting dining experience.

I am very happy with this host. Except for the communication, which was not very fast, everything worked out very well. I would recommend this spot!

We spent this year's Easter weekend (Thursday to Monday) in Micha's cottage in Thuringia and felt completely comfortable. The cottage is absolutely sufficient for two people, very cozy and just as equipped as indicated in the description. Everything was clean, lovingly decorated and nothing was missing. The location in Brotterode-Trusetal is ideal for excursions into nature – perfect for hiking and relaxing. We can highly recommend this property and will be happy to come back!

The apartment was absolutely top equipped and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The welcome was warm and we felt very well looked after. Very comfortable beds. The only downer was that you had to keep the windows in the bedroom, which are directly facing the street, closed for noise protection reasons. We then left the door open to the bedroom and opened the windows in the living room. Together with Oropax, we were able to sleep passably.

Cozy and quiet! We had a great view, with nature. Perfect starting point for many things to do for adults, kids and also dogs. Everything important was on site, especially the kitchen was well equipped. There are versatile shops for everyday needs, which can also be easily reached on foot. For the journey, a higher car is recommended, but if you drive slowly, you can also drive a deep car. The people in the area and especially the hosts were very friendly and the communication was unproblematic and quickly possible.
