A perfect place to stay for a larger group! There are cozy rooms for retreat and a spacious living room as well as a terrace for socializing. The apartment and kitchen are perfectly equipped. The location with the lake behind the house is perfect and a wonderful starting point for hikes!

My stay with my family of 6 was amazing. It was very spacious. The place was exactly as described. The living room view toogood to be true. The neighbourhood was very pretty. Would really recommend it to a big group.

Our stay at Uli's was excellent, what we loved was that Uli personally welcomed us and provided us with valuable tips and information. There are also various guidebooks in the room. The stay was an absolute dream! The cottage was very tasteful and cozy - the view was magnificent. We felt very comfortable and welcome right from the beginning. Veronika gave us good recommendations and was very kind. Our highlight: the fine guitar sounds we were able to listen to in the morning. We will be happy to come back :)

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

If you are looking for peace, quiet, a beautiful view, a beautiful apartment, a feeling of home and the owner of the apartment who answers every question immediately, this is the place. Mimi took care of every detail in her house. We felt like home down to the smallest details in the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen. The apartment is designed for a family with children who need to cook. The kitchen has everything. Good location, close to the lakes and all the attractions related to nature and water recreation. Highly recommend.

Very nicely located house in a quiet location. The property is very well equipped, both outdoors and indoors (sufficient kitchen utensils, baby equipment, etc.). Gabriela and Lena were very nice, always available and responded very quickly. We would come back anytime.

We stayed here for 4 nights for a ski holiday. The apartment is nice and modern with a wonderful view of the area (mountains and valley). 15-20 minutes away from various ski options within Ski Amadé. We found Zauchensee and Flachauwinkel top for skiing. The sauna facilities are nice to use after skiing. Nearby and a fifteen-minute drive away are great restaurants. The staff is very friendly at reception and checkout.

We visited for the second time and everything was perfect again. You feel at home, it has everything you need and the view into the garden is beautiful.

The stay in the witch's cottage was great. We felt completely comfortable. Ute and her family were super warm and gave us many tips. For children, it is a dream: trampoline, swing, animals, etc. Great all around! We were thrilled and will be back for sure!

Katharina's place was absolutely beautiful!!!! Myself, my sister and our 3 teen/ college daughters didn't want to leave! She is a lovely host offering help, kindness and service in exceptional ways. The views are absolutely amazing!!!! We loved sitting on the balcony or at dinner at the table overlooking the mountains and just taking in the beauty and peacefulness. Visiting the animals was so fun as well. She has thought of so many helpful amenities for travelers. As an interior designer, I especially appreciated the beautiful and functional interior spaces from the kitchen, living to the bedrooms and well thought out bathrooms. I highly recommend Katharina's place. She is lovely herself and her place resembles both her personal beauty and her desire to create a space for others to enjoy true respite, peace and time with the people they love. We loved our stay at Witenmoos! We’re a family of 5 and it was just perfect for us. So many activities for the children, great location close to some incredible restaurants and the apartment itself was perfect. So clean, well equipped, just a brilliant place to spend a week ❤️

great peaceful retreat close to Bad Ischl

This was a great place to stay with our rental car. It was such a peaceful location and made exploring the surrounding area with a car so easy. Walking into the village of Hallstatt only took 10 minutes. We loved our stay here!

Our 5d4n stay was very fulfilling. First of all, the location of the property i.e. nestled in the Austrian Alps, is just ideal for our itinerary including our day trip to German alpine. Next, the property itself is a hidden gem, sitting on an elevated ground, overseeing the town below with mountains as the backdrop, and with cows lingering on the green fields makes the view spectacular. And the house is lovely and clean. Host warm hospitality makes our stay even better and we enjoy the conversation with him. He is the best host we have ever met so far. Me, my wife and our daughter truly have a wonderful time here. We hope to also experience a snowy winter here in the future.

Great place.. amazing view and walkable to the lake and groceries nearby. Convenient parking. You wouldnt feel like leaving the apartment given the beautiful and calm surrounding. Kitchen was also well fitted and beds were comfortable.

The stay at Valentin's was great. The apartment corresponded to the pictures and it had everything you want. Valentin was a very nice host and greeted us personally upon arrival. We would come back anytime:)

This was one of the best airbnbs I’ve been to. An absolute dream- the sweet sheep in the yard and the views from the windows are incredible. We came for Hallstatt but Obertraun was our absolute favorite. Also the host let us borrow bikes which made our trip even more incredible. The bike paths were stunning. 10/10 stay!

We had a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. The unit is well appointed, clean, tidy and modern. The location was superb with beautiful views of the mountains and about 3km outside of town. We highly recommend it.

Lena is a super host for a reason. She is kind and helpful and very proactive in her response The appartment is walkable from the HBF and has all amenities. The location is very central and walking from the river and close to great restaurants. Higly recommend it to all travelers visiting upper Austrian region. Hallstat, Wolfgang and are close by bus.
