I would stay again if I was needing a place to stay just before I fly out. I found Sangeeta VERY responsive and HELPFUL! She picked me from the bus stand and also drove me to the Nadi airport at 5:30am! The airbnb was clean and comfortable. Thank you Sangeeta!

Ruci & Mali’s Beach Homestay #5

My stay with Mali and Ruci was a great experience. I was greeted warmly and felt comfortable right away. Their house is in a small village on the beach, and the people in this village were very friendly. The nearby coral reef was beautiful. I also did the snorkelling with sharks which I can recommend, our guide showed us the sharks but also pointed out many other fish and let me be in the water for a long time. I also enjoyed a sunset hike up the hill, attended a local kava ceremony in the community center, and tried making shell jewelry. The only thing I would criticize is that, at least for me, on airbnb it said that I would have a single room. However, this wasn't the case, and the room was a little bit noisy. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would have loved to stay longer.

Mei Ling Chen was an incredible friendly host and was able to pick us and drop us off at the airport for 50 dollars in total. The room was clean and the communication was great, we would definitely recommend!

Naomi, Eseroma und ihre fünf Kinder empfingen uns mit so viel Herzlichkeit, dass wir uns sofort willkommen fühlten. Direkt nach unserer Ankunft gab es ein leckeres Mittagessen, und unser privates Zimmer mit Meerblick war traumhaft. Naomi kochte jeden Tag verschiedenste Köstlichkeiten – frischer Fisch, einmal sogar Hummer! Sie bereitete immer das zu, was sie selbst auch assen, und wir aßen gemeinsam mit der Familie – was das Ganze noch viel authentischer und familiärer machte. Eigentlich wollten wir zwei Nächte bleiben, am Ende wurden es fünf – weil es uns so gut gefiel. Die Gespräche mit Naomi und den Menschen im Dorf, das Spielen mit ihren liebevollen Kindern – all das hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wir können diesen Homestay von Herzen weiterempfehlen – authentisch, herzlich und voller schöner Erinnerungen.

Ocean Rythm Homestay 1

I had amazing 2 days and Tina and her family cared so much for me. I went snorcheling with reef sharks (they are very friendly, medium size and not dangerous), made my own jewelery, bracelet which was so fun. The reef is right in front and i saw many fishes, corals were beautiful! The boys dropped me of on yasawa flyer, all is well organized. My room was comfy, i slept very well, you can hear the ocean waves right beside your room. Village people are lovely and welcoming too. One boy extra run back to the boat in the ocean to catch my shoes for me that i forgot on the trip and Amele helped me out with the booking payments via online banking when i ran out of cash which was extremely kind. No ATM on the island, take enough cash with you! You can buy water bottles from Tina as well. I came as guest and left as a friend. Its a magic place and i will be back!

I am a solo traveller to Fiji and found this gem of a place! Ms. Hu and her husband are so lovely, helpful and welcoming. I very much recommend this place! It is private, beautiful surroundings, and with a couple of restaurants and conveneint stores walking distance. They also have very cute cats ☺️
