Absolutely loved our stay! House is very spacious and can accommodate 2 large families. Plenty of seating and the view from the patio alone is worth it. Location is at Kashmir Point with good restaurants and local shops at a walking distance. Host was nice and communicated well in a very friendly and professional manner. I’ll definitely recommend staying here!

Changal House in Srinagar was more than just a stay, it truly felt like home. The beauty of the place is undeniable, but what made it unforgettable was the incredible warmth of the hosts, especially Imtiaj uncle. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and treated like family. Imtiaj uncle is such a kind and genuine soul, always smiling, always thoughtful, his gestures were filled with so much love. The house is peaceful and clean but it’s the people who make it special. This kind of hospitality is rare and heartfelt. I am so greateful for the experience. Thank you to the entire family for making our trip so special.

I stayed here with family and this home is fantastic. A wonderful location which is very close to the city. The house was immaculate and very clean and tidy. On arrival we were greeted and shown around the home and offered dinner. There was a chef present who cooked a beautiful meal. There was AC on and it was very cool throughout. The host was on call providing me with lots of local knowledge and help in travelling and sight seeing, no task was too troublesome. I felt very safe and at home. If you are visiting this is a super clean and safe home. I will be coming again in the summer

The place is cozy and well-maintained, making it a great option for a stay with friends or family. Though the food options were limited, everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was respectful and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and equipped with heaters, hot water, and electric bed warmers, which made the stay comfortable. However, there were frequent power cuts that occasionally affected access to hot water. Also, keep in mind that the property is located about 30 minutes outside of Srinagar, not within the city itself.

House was good but the heating wasnt sufficient to warm up the rooms. Other than that, rooms were clean - its almost 2.5 kms away from pc bhurban

I've been to The Great Escape more than once now and I must say it deserves a great review! This place gives homely feels in the mountains. It's very clean and the house help is also efficient. But the bbq and the views from around the bonfire in the gardens under the starlit sky was definitely the highlight of our stay. It was definitely better than the pictures even. The only bad thing about this place is that once you visit you don't wanna return to the city. 😅 Highly recommended 👌🏼

The place is a little far from Srinagar city but if you’ve your own vehicle - it’s the best deal one can have in Srinagar. Very responsive host and caretaker and very well maintained house

It's not like the pictures or what you read about on the web. But there were features that were nice like the honeymoon suit was nice and spacious. They provided good service as well as good board games for the family.

Perfect getaway especially if you’re with family. Extremely friendly and responsive staff and to top it all the food was fantastic. Loved the walnut chutney and parathas that were served.

Ghulam’s place is an oasis. Given its serene outlook and space, I highly recommend this one for parties or short term stays. Furthermore, the host accommodates you in every way possible. In a city like Jhelum, this is the perfect place to stay.

Very beautiful and peaceful place to be at if you’re looking for a place to relax and find peace. The caretakers are such sweet and caring people. It’s a little secluded from the city but you won’t have any trouble getting anything to eat. The caretakers arranged us grocery and also made us feel like at home and also had the bonfire ready for us on our direction. Must visit

We had a fantastic Stay. Host (Irfan Uncle Sahib) was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The place was quite good. The rooms were neat and clean, though access was a bit difficult as the flat was quite far down the hill. However, Hanan was a great host. Our car broke down, and Hanan helped us a lot, he arranged a mechanic and kept following up with us until the car was fixed. Fully recommended.

Great stay for groups, families and pet parents. Great host and caretaker. The caretakers stay at the property and use the same kitchen for cooking their meals. Will visit again

We had a wonderful stay here. The service was top-notch, with incredibly kind and helpful caretakers who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious, and the owner himself was always available and accommodating. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view, overlooking the mountains and Dal Lake, it truly enhanced the Kashmir experience. The backyard was a perfect spot to take it all in. While the house itself was a bit old and the living room colder than expected, the pros more than made up for it.

Overall the stay was really nice and comfortable. The location is remarkable and you will get great views from all rooms and balcony. Also, the apartment was very spacious with big rooms and washrooms. Although, washroom requires some maintenance in terms of sanitary fittings and a bit more cleaning. Heating and hot water facilities were also good. Although the location has very excellent views but little far from main attractions, markets and restaurants. Please ensure plan for your food matters in advance. There is also ample space for parking. Definitely, we will be staying at this place in future as well.

We went there for a family trip. The place was in a serene and secluded location with no noise or light pollution. The attendant was nice and non-intrusive. It felt like home. I feel that the price could be a few thousands less but thats just my opinion.

The second visit to this place was also fantastic. It continues to be a peaceful and warm environment, making it the perfect destination for families. This time Shabbir, the caretaker, played a crucial role in ensuring that our journey was wonderful. He takes excellent care of both the property and the guests.

Zeeshan's place is brand new and in perfect condition, having all kitchen supplies. The location and view was simply heavenly. We stayed for a month and honestly, I could have stayed forever. The view from the private balcony was spectacular! It has just about everything for a long stay. I wished there was a small wash machine and wifi, but we managed just fine. I couldn't do my remote work online as I need to stream video, but maybe that was a blessing as I work enough. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size. The living area was comfortable but I spent most of my time having tea on the balcony and relaxing. We planned two or three day trips weekly. Everywhere was so beautifully green and gorgeous. The weather there in summer was so nice and cool and so getting away from the city heat was a treat. Zeeshan, thanks so much for a lovely stay. I could spend my entire summer there and be perfectly content. For winters, the place has new radiators!
