This place was awesome the views are incredible and the privacy was like nowhere else. As long as you have 4wd and don’t mind some steps this is a perfect place for couples. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Kevin was even proactive in letting us know the power had went out before we got there and then immediately let us know it was back on. This place really is a hidden gem and you are within 15-30 minutes of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

This place was charming and very close to wineries/breweries in the area. It was also relatively close to Charlottesville, it only took 25-30 minutes to drive there. We had no problem bringing our kids along, there was high chair (although we didn’t need it) and kids plates/utensils. It was very clean when we checked in!

Also a fairly easy drive to Charlottesville if you wanted to do it for dinner. We will definitely be staying here again!

Matt’s place was great for me and my husband to spend our wedding night! We got married in charlottesville and wanted a small stay-cation before leaving for our honeymoon and this was the perfect spot to rest after our wedding. The airbnb is adorable and we easily went into Crozet during the day. Upon arrival, we weren’t sure we were in the right spot because there was a “posted: private property sign” on the driveway but I contacted Matt and he replied very quickly saying it was just leftover from previous owners. All was perfect after that! The kitchen doesn’t have a stove but they provided a one burner hot- pad that worked very nicely! I was slightly worried about that, but it turned out great.

Perfectly appointed, simple place. Great for one or 2 people. It is isolated, peaceful and quiet. It was clean, with every little thing you might have forgotten. So thoughtful of Lynne. We went to Sherando Lake, nearby. The next day, we hiked Crabtree Falls, not too far. We cooked out and had campfires all 3 nights. This newlywed couple loved it. 🥰
