Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Avola

We felt super comfortable in Charlie's vacation home from the beginning. Everything was as described in the advertisement and there was nothing missing. We especially enjoyed cozy breakfasts and dinners on the two terraces or the first coffee of the day on the rooftop terrace with sea views. My favorite place was the hammock - also with sea view - where you could relax wonderfully. The vacation home is also a perfect starting point for various excursions. For example, we found it super nice in/on "La Spiaggia della Riserva Foce dell'Irminio," which is only about 10 minutes away by car. The personal contact with Charlie was very nice and informal. He is an attentive, yet totally unobtrusive host who has plenty of tips for restaurants, excursions, etc. And we also got fresh eggs from the chickens. We would book the vacation home again anytime! Couldn’t have been better. Easy communication, super warm welcome, awesome property that has everything you need and more. We felt immediately at home and even days of thunderstorm and rain were pleasant in this house. Valerio and his family have always been there for us and took care of everything super fast. The property looks in real life even better than on the pictures.

We had a great week in Tiziana’s place. Beautiful apartment in lovely little town. Lots of great restaurants. Great view from fabulous big balcony. Would definitely recommend apartment. Only negative was we had no WiFi for the week. There was a problem in the area and wasn’t rectified in the week

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

We loved the apartment and very much enjoyed our return to Siracusa/Ortigia after a number of years when not possible. Perfect location, near to the Market and sea front, wonderful restaurants and historical sites. Comfortable, excellent facilities, and Sebastiano a very helpful, good host. We stayed 2 nights and want to return again soon, both to Ortigia and the apartment. Highly recommended.

The house and location were fantastic for us! We couldn't stop enjoying the peace and let the view wander over the beautiful countryside. The house is very nicely decorated and ideal for 2 persons. The facility is functional, without unnecessary stuff. Communication with Melissa was top notch. We really enjoyed it and would come back right away.

We had a lovely stay, the house was beautiful and well looked after. The pool and surrounding gardens were amazing to spend time in. We had great communication before and during the stay. We were travelling with a baby and toddler and there were high chairs and a cot provided which was hugely helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very beautiful apartment and was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden was amazing with a nice view of the church and we enjoyed our time outside. Lorenzo was very helpful and gave us great instructions and local recommendations. The beds were super comfortable too. The location was great for walking into town and we walked everywhere. Lots of convenient parking nearby on the main road. A superb Airbnb.

The property was very comfortable, nicely furnished and felt very welcoming and homely. It is extremely well located near the centre of Ortigia and yet is both private and quiet. Everything (shops/restaurants) is within a short walking distance. Gisella provided lots of support and useful suggestions for our visit and Gianluca was there to greet us locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return.

Natalia's villa was perfect for what my friends and I needed. It was centrally located and very safe. It was our first time visiting the area, our flight was delayed, and one suitcase did not arrive on time. Natalia and her sister, Marcella were very understanding. Marcella was so great! Making us feel welcomed on the spot. The villa is very spacious..More space than we 3 needed but perfect for spreading out after a day of sightseeing. The views are spectacular, the people, warm and friendly. There is a Lidl up the street from the villa where you can easily get anything you might need for your stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with full size fridge and anything you might need to prepare meals at home. We can not say enough about this lovely property. We will definately be back! One of the best places we have been.. The villa is super cozy and you feel right at home! Also, Federico is a great host, he was always responsive and helpful, and gave us useful recommendations on the dining and things to do in the area. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Exactly as described. Easy walk to more restaurants and sites than one could do in a year. Ortigia is unreal ! We stayed 6 nights and wished we booked it for longer.

Authentic Sicilian stay, close to beach, close to several towns.

Great villa with large garden where kids can just have fun. We even used the pool twice, in April. Loredana is very professional, nice and helpful.

Corrado was so nice and friendly, he was a gentle man. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was perfect. Pool was fabulous. Every recommendation Corrado gave us was superb from beaches to the unmissable Canyon, to restaurants to day trips. I would highly highly recommend this place and the wonderful Corrado

Beautiful location across the river from Noto - the property is well-thought-out and cared for, large variety of interesting trees and plants (lemons, oranges, pomegranates, almonds, etc) around the house, fun pool for the kids, well-appointed kitchen and beautiful spot for evening meals looking over the vista of Noto as the sun sets. However, the highlight was the hosts - Emanuel and Sebastiano - flexible with check-in and check-out, Emanuel took the time to answer all of our questions, introduce us to all of the interesting parts of the property, and provide local recommendations, and Sebastiano was very helpful and patient when I forgot our passports at the house and had to return to get them - he safeguarded them and met me in town to return them. Highly recommended!

Pictures cannot really reflect how beautiful this place is! The amazing view from the large terrace shows all the beauty of the rich Sicilian landscape: the sunrise from the sea, Etna with its clouds and always present smoke trace, the cow bells as the only sound you hear …. The house and the garden are made with love and are a perfect place to stay! Many places to visit are within a short drive - great location that allows you full privacy as well as many sight-seeing possibilities. What makes you feel at home from the first moment - are the very welcoming and kind hosts, Grazia and Antonio. They thought of everything when preparing the house for us. They are always available for answering questions and help. Great suggestions for places to see and to eat. Thank you for everything Grazia and Antonio!

Our family of three had several wonderful days at Villa Cammarana and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was gorgeous and equipped with everything you could need from a bbq and stocked kitchen to laundry and a huge, comfortable patio—they even left local cheese, strawberries and bread for us. We loved the green yard as well and our kiddo had a great time playing out there. There’s no A/C but we never had an issue with being hot, the house stays cool and all the windows are screened so it was very fresh at night. Just bring a sleep mask because the sun rises early. It’s easy to get to Ragusa, a grocery store (both ~20 min) and nearby villages, but you must have a car. We went to the beach at Marina di Ragusa twice, very reasonable to rent loungers and towels. The sea is calm and perfect for swimming, lots of local families. Definitely so glad we stayed here!

Highly recommended. House, impeccable, clean and equipped with every comfort. Beautiful garden, outdoor area with pizza oven and grill, kitchen equipped with everything. 2 bathrooms, one on each floor, and an outdoor shower. Clean and fragrant linens. Excellent location, a 5-minute drive from various supermarkets, in a maximum of half an hour's drive you can reach the best places in the area (Ortigia, Noto, Scicli, Modica) Quiet beach with beautiful sea 7-8 minutes' walk away.
