We had a great experience during our stay. A very quiet space (we only had the company of goats and sheep☺️), our dog walked freely and we followed Daniel's suggestion to go to the beautiful stream near the house. I must mention that Daniel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. In short, I highly recommend it for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A place to return to ☺️

Lovely stay in Portugal. The house was in a very quiet and peacefull area, we woke up with the birds every morning. The garden is very big and has sun the whole day. The pool is actually much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We really loved our stay, the house is very private and Catia was very friendly and helpfull. Also we loved the fresh vegetables from the garden so much! Would recommend to stay with Catia when you can.

The house is a dream! It has everything you need! The surrounding land and the views are incredible... Not to mention that it has tradition and very attentive details! Waking up to the sound of birds and flocks of sheep is out of this world! The space outside is also very well maintained and is nice to be with family or friends!

We stayed in a super private space, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. The pool is fantastic and our 3-year-old daughter loved it — she had a blast! We arrived around 10 pm and, even so, Edite and her husband were waiting for us with all the sympathy. They even offered us something to eat if we needed it. We had a delicious fresh lemonade waiting for us and even honey berries, a treat we loved. We also had the opportunity to buy the honey that Edite produces and learn a little about the production process, which made the stay even more special. Edite and her husband are loving and extremely welcoming people. The space is great, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet. I highly recommend it! Rita was an exceptional host. She provided clear directions and many options regarding places to visit. Her place is both well cared for and well stocked for everything you need.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house is extremely spacious, with 5 bedrooms, a very well-decorated rustic living room (all well thought out and with very good taste) and 3 very clean and functional bathrooms. Both the beds and the bed linens and towels were comfortable and of high quality. Very well-equipped kitchen, with several utensils, which made preparing meals very easy. The dining area on the porch, overlooking the typical Alentejo landscape, created a great atmosphere for our group lunches. The rooms of the house are equipped with air-conditioning (essential for the hottest days). In short, the house offers everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. I highly recommend this property.

Monsaraz is such a charming hilltop village in the Alentejo region! Jose Luis' accommodations is in the heart of the village, on the main street and just below the castle! The accommodations are very spacious, with the living, dining and kitchen areas feeling very homey! The views of the castle and the valley below from the rear terrace are amazing! This is also a haven for cat lovers, as we had several feline friends hang out on the terrace! Just be mindful of not letting them inside! This is truly the best accommodations in Monsaraz!

Very cozy house and surrounding space. Very quiet space for those who need to relax / get out of the routine. The visit of the sheep at the end of the day was the most anticipated moment of the day. The Host was always impeccable, and present when needed. A word of appreciation to the cleaning team with whom we had the privilege of meeting at the time of check-out, who were very warm and welcoming.

We were captivated by the charm of this small Alentejo house, which preserves the old soul with a cozy touch. Upon entering, we immediately felt that freshness that makes all the difference on hot days — and that made us feel immediately at home. The patio is a true haven, perfect for outdoor dining and moments of tranquility. The house is well-equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket and an excellent sausage shop just a few steps away, and we loved integrating walks through the village into our routine. Maria João was a thoughtful and generous host — she even offered us a bottle of family olive oil, a beautiful gesture that we will remember. We highly recommend it!

Everything worked very well; the space was very tidy and extremely clean; we didn't miss anything (it was also well-equipped and "modernized"); it is extremely well located; the instructions were clear and communication was easy. I recommend it! The only things that required some adaptation on my part: the photograph of the sofa bed does not correspond to the furniture that is currently there, which I believe will accommodate a child well, but not so well an adult (it has a wooden frame that delimits one side and the tops - my feet and head touched this "frame" - and it does not open into a double bed, as seen in the photos - it is the size of a single bed); although the windows are more recent, possibly having thermal insulation, they may not have sound insulation and the street is sometimes noisy (area of passage of cars and people).
