Amish Country Studio - 1 Bed, Private Bath

LoganRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Everything about this space was great! There was a small issue with the AC unit, and Barbara and Katie sent someone out within 20 minutes to fix it. They were responsible the entire length of my stay. The bed was comfortable and there were snacks and cold bottles of water in the fridge upon my arrival, which was a nice touch! I will definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back to West Union! ☺️

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great couple's getaway. Beautiful view of the river from the front windows and patio, and lovely private patio/garden in the back. Nicely located in the heart of town close to restaurants and boutiques. Well appointed and attractive. Also really convenient to a wedding venue a couple of miles down the road.

Bear Necessities

My husband and I have been here twice now, and we very much enjoyed the country side, and the hiking thats why we came. There is a small lake not far away and it has a lot of water bird and song birds, as a bird nerd I hade a wonderful watching and photographing them my husband enjoyed the quiet peace of the place. We took a hike up to Buzzards Roost Rock, it was beautiful. We had a great time and the little cabin was just perfect for our getaway.

Heather was very easy to work with and her space was extremely comfortable. She had amenities for me to enjoy such as a kayak and bikes. I’m from Ripley and visit here only for Holidays and family and community events and there is no better place to stay. Right on the creek. This is a beautiful location!

We stayed at Bertha’s Cabin. Absolutely awesome!! Everything about it from authentic look to great little town to 5 minute walk to the Ohio River. Plenty to do within a 1 hour drive you have the Creation Museum and the Ark encounter. Liz had everything we needed in the cabin from soap and shampoo to coffee and snacks. I would definitely recommend to people this little spot. A++++++
