If you want a truly peaceful, rejuvenating escape in a beautiful serene location - highly recommend Susans place. Its rustuc, kitchy, full of personality and a great respite from city life. Susan is accomodating, friendly and lets you enjoy the pond and scenery in peace. Added bonus was no cell service at the Barn so we could switch off from the world - however Wifi at Susans house was accessible whenever we wanted (which wasnt that often) and we loved being off the grid for our 3 days. Thank you Susan and Sasha it was such a delight! x

How an airbnb should be. Anna & Brian have created such a welcoming, peaceful oasis with all of the personal touches that make staying here so wonderful. A short drive from Auckland and you feel you're in the middle of nowhere (in the best way). A bottle of wine, homemade cake & bread, breakfast provisions (so many eggs we couldn't finish them all) topped off with a well kept tennis court, pool & spa - in a gorgeous apartment-like setting, we couldn't have asked for more. A great place to stay.

Beautiful barn style, accommodates three families easily all with their own bathroom! The line is very luxurious and beds comfy Communication was quick and efficient at very late notice. The place did have a few cobwebs and dust from the road but I think that comes hand and hand with being out in the countryside. Stunning garden outlook to sit and have your morning coffee. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other families or larger groups with all amenities supplied and a short drive to Te Arai beach. Thank you!

Enjoy the ambience of such a peaceful place, lovely furnishings and textiles a little gem in easy to reach rural surrounds, nature at it’s best.

We loved our stay in Ness Valley. Wonderfully appointed accom, with plenty of space and beautiful sunshine pouring into the house - the perfect winter escape. The kids adored playing with the dog Maisey, learning to play croquet and feeding Neil the Eel in the stream. Thanks Jane and Darien for your very generous hospitality. It was the perfect city escape, 40mins from our door in AKL to yours. We enjoyed the Clevedon farmers market on Sunday.

We (myself, hubby, 11 year old) wanted a beautiful, peaceful spot that we could relax in and Deb's place really delivered. We loved the countryside setting that was so quiet, the cosy comfy beds, the fully equipped kitchen and the games room - we spent many happy hours playing pool! The location was fantastic, rural yet so close to Matakana. Deb and Anto were great hosts, very responsive. Highly recommend.

It was a wonderful cottage — very clean and cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere that really felt like New Zealand. We'd love to stay here again!

Great stay, really enjoyed how peaceful and the barn was absolutely lovely. My partner and I were meant to go out but ended up deciding to stay in most of the time because we enjoyed how nice the accomodation was. Natalie and Bruce were quick and straight forward for comms. Would definitely recommend.
