Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

The house is located in town. Less than a 5-minute stroll to the lake passing a coffee and ice cream shop, a consignment shop, an art gallery, etc. This is a great place to stay for the Harbor Town Weekend in September.
