The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 10x12, with a queen size bed, dresser, a mini-fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch, TV and heat/fan. Our cabin is a studio with a hot tub & all the amenities. A queen bed, linens, towels, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single burner cook plate, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots & pans, toaster & coffee maker. Roku Tv & dvd player with movies. The cabin's bathroom is simular to a cruise ship, you step up into your shower. There is also an private outdoor shower. There is a fire pit with an attached grill & hibachi. We have a garden area & privacy fence between our home & the cabin.

You will be 11 miles from Whiteface Mtn, and close to Lake Placid, AuSable Chasm, fishing on the Ausable River, Lake Champlain and only 90 miles from Montreal. The Cabin has been recently totally remodeled, and we think you will enjoy the newly tiled bathrooms, renovated kitchen, and cozy living room area with highspeed Wifi, cable tv, and even a computer station with a printer.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Hikers Base Camp Cabin

Newly renovated building on 52 private acres with nice walking trails. Overlooks small trout stream and active beaver pond. Located at the Northeastern entrance to the Adirondack Park, we are conveniently placed to begin an ADK adventure. We are familiar with most of the trailheads and are on site to help in any way we can. We do not allow campfires on the property because of the high fire risk.
