Vacation rentals with breakfast in Athens

It's hard to choose my favorite part of our stay at the Nest... it was absolutely beautiful, uniquely constructed with a really peaceful energy. I felt that the intention to create a lovely space was not only executed but the positive intention stayed with the home. Everything was clean and in working order, comfortable, spacious. Kristin was very responsive and proactive, and mostly very friendly. We enjoyed exploring the home and the decor from different countries. The surroundings were private and so green and lush. Birds through the big open windows, thunderstorm - perfect... Exploring Minnewaska and Mohonk Preserve was awesome and New Paltz is super cute. I've been to the area once before but got a better snapshot of it all this time. We would love to come back! Thank you so much!

My group loved our stay at Alan and Cara’s place for the Sheep & Wool festival. Great space for a large group; we especially loved how comfortable the living room couches were and how there was space for everyone there to gather. The place was immaculately clean. We’d love to come back again!

Anne’s place is truly incredible with the design and amenities. Perfect spot to be secluded for the weekend and check out neighboring towns. She very generous by preparing breakfast each morning you are there and has great communication/check-ins. Amazing getaway!

We were extremely pleased with Shinto and his house. The house and the surrounding area were more beautiful than the pictures could capture. Shinto was a very accommodating and I couldn’t ask for a better host. Will definitely be returning asap!

Lola's place was clean, quiet, comfy and well situated for our needs. The house is well equipped, including butter, milk and eggs in the refrigerator (nice touch). Lola is very responsive, answering any question we had in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Kira’s place felt just like home - comfortable, clean, warm, and lovely. Kira was also very responsive and kind in all her communications with us. We would absolutely stay again, without a doubt!

My friends and I loved Jenny’s home. Every corner there was something else to look at. It was spotless and we felt right at home. What a beautiful weekend in Kinderhook, felt like an escape. Cute town too!

We loved our stay at the Suites on Main! The suite was clean, spacious, and accommodated our needs with microwave, stove and full refrigerator! The on-suite bathroom was so nice and a great hot shower! The location in town is perfect for enjoying the shops and eating spots! We would recommend this place to all couples traveling to Margaretville!

I absolutely love this little cottage. This is our second time staying. It is very cozy, perfect for a couple for the weekend. The property is very quiet and peaceful with the brook running right past the back of the cottage. It is an easy walk into the center of town and the strip with various stores, restaurants, and bars. The cottage was clean, neat, and had all basic necessities. Panxi and Diana are great hosts, available for questions. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this booking.

We booked a quick in and out mini trip from Long Island. It was so easy to get there, perfect location if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and need to unplug for a bit. We booked one of the larger apartments since we were traveling with 3 kids and our dog. We felt right at home, the design and decor allowed us to cozy up quickly. They put effort into the small details that provide the comfort you’re looking for when being away from home. Tons of games to play with the family, comfortable mattresses, perfect lighting, stocked kitchen. Everything you need to start a fire outside along with s’mores kits. The boys played ball and with a few other things that were provided in the outdoor bins. The kids were also very interested learning about the history of the actual hotel and location, and how the history of it has been preserved while creating something beautiful and cozy for families. The place smelled great and was spotless.

Lovely spot, walkable and chill! If it gets chilly there’s plenty of space heaters! We loved the living area. Very intimate spot to unwind after a day of travel

Had a lovely stay at Ellen's with a couple friends. Will definitely be returning to the house when in Hudson next! The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped, and is very walkable to town. Ellen is one of the friendliest hosts I've encountered on Airbnb. She made sure we had all we needed and was very responsive, checking in to make sure all was well throughout the stay. Would highly recommend a stay at her apartment!

Doris was an amazing host who went above and beyond in making the stay both comfortable and convenient! I would highly recommend her to anyone staying in the area!

Our favorite Airbnb upstate so far! Incredibly homey and cozy space, beautiful decor, very clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, so quiet and private. Erica left fruit and eggs for us which was very thoughtful. WiFi signal was pretty weak, but it was a good opportunity to disconnect. Loved the place overall.

The place is very uniquely designed and very cute. We stayed over memorial Day weekend and particularly loved the bathtub and the large fireplace by the bed. It was very relaxing after the hikes, especially since you can set up wine and snacks for your bath time. We took advantage of the industrial stove instead of BBQ ing outside because the weather was not great during our stay. The stove was a game changer to cook our steak perfectly. The place was very thoughtfully designed, I enjoyed sitting in the swing chairs, too. Daniel was very responsive and flexible with our check in as well which we appreciated. We recommend his place to everyone!

We booked a last minute getaway and this was IDEAL. Sean and Kelly’s beautifully restored home is cozy and so immaculately beautiful. The downstairs common areas are perfect for curling up by the fire with a book and a cup of tea/glass of wine. The bedroom was spotless, super comfortable bed, sparkling clean bathroom and awesome jacuzzi style bathtub. The hosts are extremely friendly and amazing people. They made us feel right at home and welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them about local history, wildlife, and their story. Can’t wait to come back here again!

Great stay! Leam was informative and kind. Breakfast was great, dogs are cute. Property is rustic but isn’t that the point? :) the room itself was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed.

Troy is a complete GEM of a human! We felt very welcomed and at home in his beautiful scenic setting. Also the breakfast was like nothing I have experienced, master chef work! I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. I cannot say enough great things about my stay!

Susan was a wonderful host! Even if I was out and about the whole weekend, she made herself available when I had questions, provided suggestions for cities to visit around North Chatham. The house is beautiful and peaceful, a heaven for birdwatchers and nature lovers!

We came to town for a friend's birthday party and were recommended to stay at Catalpa House. Ellen was very communicative when our flight was delayed. Upon our arrival, we were shown to an excellent room with a very comfortable bed, pillows, linens, and a well-appointed bathroom. The historic house has beautifully decorated rooms and fresh flowers, well-placed. If you appreciate attention to detail in design, gracious hosts, and gourmet breakfasts, then Catalpa House should be on your list.

I can’t say enough kind things about my stay here. I immediately felt such a warm welcome, the space was gorgeous and charming. My room had stunning light that came through the stained glass window every morning to greet me. The breakfast was lovely and substantial. The local recommendations were all great (especially the dinner I had at the local spot on Main Street). It’s exactly the kind of hospitality and vibe you’d hope to get from a classic BnB. It rained one day I was there and I was equally as happy to stay in working on art, eating dinner by the fire. Can’t wait to return!

Tina’s place was charming and peaceful. If you’re looking for a spot to relax and enjoy a quiet getaway this is the place. We could have spent days perusing the library of books available in this lovely loft. Tina was gracious and accommodating during our visit and we will definitely return again soon.

This was hands-down the best AirBnb we've ever stayed in. Susan was very responsive, kind, and gave us a ton of helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. We felt completely at home in this beautiful AirBnb and were impressed by all the amenities, the delicious home-cooked breakfasts, spectacular outdoor views, and the attention to detail. Susan and the AirBnb were amazing and we will ABSOLUTELY be back!
