With timber-framed walls, slanting roofs, wooden floors, and a cozy fireplace in each room, this home is the perfect encapsulation of Shillong.

The Home Stay

You are at this charming, one-of-a-kind place in the city, spacious, quiet and a little away from the crowd. The Home Stay has 1 queensize bed, & 3 comfy sofas cum beds that turns into a second double bed + 1 single bed. For a 4 + 3 booking, our guests can book the 2nd property, at The Home Stay and can be accessed through the link - airbnb.com/h/the-home-stay-studio. The pool is a rainwaterharvesting unit and fresh water may not be available/feasible for swimming purposes all the time!

The PERFECT base to visit all sights in Cherrapunjee in a private museum all to yourself! This cozy home in Laitkynsew village offers the comfort of modern living in a quiet village. Hike to double decker bridge & Rainbow Falls (15mins drive) or Ummanoi bridge (10mins). Be blown away by this areas awesome mountain vistas overlooking Bangladesh & magnificent waterfalls. The AirBnB is 45mins drive from Cherra/Sohra. NO MEALS provided. Two restaurants nearby and third in Nongwar 10mins drive.

* It's an A-Type wooden cottage just beside Kaziranga National park with two beds. One bed is loft type. *The cottage has attached bathroom with geyser. You can come and chill. * Restaurant facility is available in campus. *Bonfire can be arranged on request. *The property is located beside highway and therefore no problem of communication. *We also arrange gyp safari for Kaziranga tour. * AC is available (Only when there is electricity supply) there will be no AC in generator

The cottage Room is your own private space on the ground floor with a seperate entrance . The room has Twin Beds to accommodate 2 people and an extra diwan bed for lounging. . There is a private bathroom and well equipped kitchenette The house is located 3 km from the city centre. Transport, ATMs cafes bars restaurants, shopping and other amenities are within easy reach. i Backroads provide for good walks from this place.
