Vacation rentals with lake access in Ashigarashimo District

We have used it several times. The room is spacious and the kitchen is spacious Mt.Fuji is also visible This is my favorite place. I'd love to stay there again I think

Loved the place … loved the old style like the sliding doors. Definitely coming back and the place was right front of the lake too.

My Gen Z kids loved the Japanese charm of the house while my older parents found the traditional furniture and beds a bit uncomfortable. Great location with lots of historic interest, short walk from the lake. We had a great time.

What a fabulous stay! Kei provided us with a personal and unique experience in the foothills of Mt Fuji. He went above and beyond to cater to our needs and make us feel welcome. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an authentic Japanese living experience!

Fantastic location with all the necessary amenities! The private bath and the various extras provided really allowed us to quickly feel at home, but with a hint of luxury too! Finding the place was super easy, and it's right across the road from the Lake so the views are incredible! There's even a little park directly behind which was nice, and the whole Motohakone area - whilst relatively small - is very accessible and packed with things to do. We only had 3 people, so we had more rooms than we knew what to do with, but even with double or triple the number of people it would be spacious. Would definitely recommend this place for others, and if I ever return to the area I would happily stay here again. Thank you!

We (myself, wife and 2 young children) had an amazing time. The host was very responsive and kind. The home was spacious and better then the pictures. We loved the decor and amenities (which were as advertised). This was one of our favorite AirBnBs, highly recommend!

We’re staying in this while watching races at Fuji Speedway. Two car park spots were good for us. One is relatively small though. Sufficient rooms and beds for our group. Did barbecue after buying meat and vegetables. A supermarket was two or three minutes drive with fair choices of food. We could buy breakfast too. The property was clean and tide. The instructions were always clear. Thanks owner for letting us use this.

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

Except that you have to walk a bit to Chiyo house (around 10+ minutes, which is actually a good exercise for us), everything is perfect as described. She is definitely a superhost

This was the best host I have EVER stayed with. Picked me up from the station and brought me home. Drove me back after check out. Had free bike rentals. All this saved me money, time, and hassle. Then during the day I got a flat tire on the bicycle and he came and picked me up! Asked if I was okay and gave me another bicycle. I was thinking he would be upset I messed up the bike. Went above and beyond in every aspect and was the best host you could ask for. Very kind and non transactional with his help. 100 out of 10 stars.

This Airbnb was by far the best place my partner and I had the opportunity to stay at. Gorgeous amount of open space. Easy to access from the street and great privacy. Our hosts were extremely accomodating and very helpful with any questions we had. The location was perfectly situated for what we had planned for our trip and close to restaurants and convenience stores. The check-in / check-out process was extremely simply. The hosts also provided us with instructions on how to use all amenities within the property to make it easier for us to feel comfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to relax and experience a cozy stay. I would love to stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay at this AirBnB. Definitely recommend it for a couple or family with a small child as it is easy to get to from the station and very peaceful with great views of Mount Fuji. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was a bit small but perfect for what you need for making easy meals. I was worried about the separate shower but it was the nicest shower we’ve had on our whole trip. It was decorated very nicely and we had a great time spending our evenings there. The hosts were very nice and accommodating!

Lovely stay at Yoshi’s place. Very close to the lake. The house is clean and indoor facilities are designed well.

This is my first time choosing a tour, I am happy to make this choice, the transportation is convenient, the house is fully equipped, the decor is beautiful and unique, I can also meet friends from all over the world, I had a pleasant two nights here, I hope I can come back as soon as possible

It is my second time to stay in this hostel and everything is excellent. The house is very close to the bus station and Lake Yamanakako, so you can rely on public transportation to arrive here from Tokyo. The room is quiet and clean, and the public space is also large and convenient. The host provides nearby restaurants recommendations and bike rental as well. Definitely recommend for travelers.

Our family of 8 spent a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... we were deeply attracted to the house as soon as we entered... we arrived a little late... but the owner still received us very warmly... and reminded us to be careful on the way... because it snowed at Yamanakako that day... our family's first experience with snow was here... we were really mesmerized by the beautiful snowy scenery... although we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, we still got a veryBeautiful snowy scenery... all the internet-famous check-in spots near Lake Yamanakako are very close... but this time we didn't have the chance to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji... I hope to have the chance to come to this house again in the future... and then enjoy the different scenery of Mt. Fuji... I highly recommend everyone to stay in this cozy and comfortable homestay... there will be a next time only if there is regret...

Great stay for one evening, spacious room with authentic Japanese style feel. Mats on the floor were comfy, very informative on check-in with a list of guides to local attractions and eateries. Nice getaway from the busy Tokyo. Would stay here again :)

It was nice to only have to prepare the ingredients for the BBQ, and the price was also reasonable.

It was a lovely place.

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
