Its beauty lies in the golden pampas swaying and shining brightly like golden waves as far as the eye can see. Also surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants, hot springs, art galleries etc. It is the best base for sightseeing in Hakone. Although this is a self check-in property, your needs can be handled online even at midnight and early morning.

Waichi-an is an all-wood, Japanese-style villa that was newly renovated in 2024 with a simple and elegant design. This two-story villa features six rooms, two bathrooms, and two restrooms, accommodating up to 10–14guests. It is equipped with a kitchen, coffee maker, cookware, glassware, and other amenities, making it ideal for travel, gatherings, and short stays. There is free parking for two cars, as well as complimentary luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out.

This is a retro-style guesthouse , but it has a calm and great atmosphere.From JR Hayakawa Station only 2minutes on foot . Highly accessible to Odawara-shi , Atami-shi and Hakone-shi .By car to Hakone only needs 15minutes .You can explore seafood market and restaurants to experience the local life here. After eating you can also walk to the national park and the Ishigakiyama Ichiya-jō Rekishi kōen on foot. Post office and convenience store are near by our house too.

150 year old house/Japanese cultural experience

Please have a tasteful time with thatched roof and hearth. It is an old house with a thatched roof built in the first year of Meiji. It is a 150-year-old building, and you can see the beauty of Japanese architecture that has endured natural disasters in Yugawara. I made new tatami mats and chairs in the living room. (If you pack and spread the futon, up to 15 people can stay, so please consult with us. Additional charges apply depending on the number of people.)
