In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof, in the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The house can be reached from the entrance on foot via a series of stairs through the terraced garden. The property and the house are not barrier-free!
