Vacation rentals with breakfast in Arcozelo

This was a dream vacation - we had just moved to Portugal and spent 2 weeks getting setup. We wanted a quiet week as a family to rest before school started. This place was perfect: perched on a mountainside in the middle of vines, the space was quiet, peaceful and beautifully designed and appointed. Paulo, the husband, is an architect who refurbishes vintage designer furniture. Teyna, the wife, is an amazing chef. Her breakfasts (included) we delicious and the dinners they offer in their adjoining restaurant and well crafted and tasty. Their place is pet friendly - we brought our dog, and they have a dog, two cats and two birds. We did outings to Porto, nearby Roman ruins, historic villages and swam in the rivers running through them. It was delightful.

Excellent stay. A farm with a magnificent and very well-kept outdoor space. A host, Mr. Rui, who strives to make our stay as rewarding as possible. Sonia does everything to make us feel at home, preparing excellent and varied breakfasts. Alpha, who played with our Leia. Well-located farm to walk around Gerês and excellent to rest and recharge. A place to return to.

I loved my stay, home super equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Super friendly and attentive owners, our family loved it. I highly recommend it.

Spacious, clean apartment, nothing missing. Feel at home. Very welcoming, helpful, friendly hosts. In small quiet village, not far from Douro, and 20 minutes from Porto by car.

Fernando was always there for us, but also left us very private, the house was nice, bedrooms fine, and a very nice garden. in the morning there were fresh rolls, and the house was well equipped. We felt very welcome and had a good week.

Our group was 15 people, all family. Our experience was much more than excellent. Ricardo's mansion, which is the best way to describe his accommodation, far exceeded our expectations: everything impeccable, spacious rooms, elegantly decorated. Dreamy gardens. The service provided by Ricardo and his team was beyond 5 stars. They kindly provided us with a delicious buffet breakfast throughout our stay, We were invited to an elegant and excellent dinner in the residence's huge and refined dining room, with different Portuguese dishes worthy of 3 Michelin stars, accompanied by exquisite wine, all served and attended to perfectly by Ricardo's team. And to end the fabulous dinner with a flourish, they gave us a private concert with local musicians and choir performing Portuguese folk music. It was a nice touch that we will never forget. The mansion is huge and exceptionally luxurious. Thank you Ricardo!

We stayed with Rui and Olivia for two nights while in Porto. We had a blast in town and loved their place! Rui met us with the keys, arranged for discounted parking, a tour on the Douro, and spent some time going through a map with us, highligting some great places. The apt is brand new and very comfortable and very central. The place was stalked with fruits and delicious treats that Olivia made herself. We really appreciated the personal touch. Rui and Olivia have a couple of apartments in the building so they were around if we needed anything at all. We loved staying at their apt and would def recommend the apartments to anyone visiting Porto. They had some great restaurant and bar recommends as well!

Well located, spacious apartment. Close enough to walk into town, but a little outside the tourist frenzy. Marta was a gracious host, meeting us outside in the rain to help us park our rental car and show us around the apartment. She left a wonderful selection of food for our breakfasts, plus useful materials for us to plan our visit. We used four comfortable bedrooms and the common, comfortable living area. Would recommend this property to friends.

So happy we stumbled on this place! The hosts were so sweet and showed us the best spots. The location was amazing and it was perfect for 4 of us. I would love to be able to stay here again!

The apartment is cozy and well located close to restaurants, grocery stores and the metro, with parking space and all furnished, has everything from blankets, bath towels to dishes, pots and silverware. It has air conditioning for hot days, and for the cold days with heating up to 30 degrees, it offers a lot of privacy, you can hardly see any neighbors. Isabela is also great host, very helpful, charismatic, always willing to help.

Myself and my 2 kids stayed in the apartment for two weeks. The newly renovated apartment is very spacious for the size that it is, and immaculately presented upon arrival. The location is very central, which certainly has its benefits. Despite its proximity to all the entertainment, the apartment is tucked away and is very well insulated from the noise and light. Our visit was during the summer holiday, so it can get very busy. My only criticism is that parking directly outside was a challenge. However, this isn’t much of a problem if you don’t intend to drive around and if you don’t mind to walk a bit! A super practical and comfortable stay…. I’ll certainly be visiting again :) Lu

We loved staying at Marta's place. She was always there when you needed something or had a question and was always friendly. The room and kitchen are actually really hard to order as described, but the pictures look a little different than in reality. You can also make a little cornflakes or bread for breakfast in the kitchen, but in downtown Porto you can of course have a little better brunch. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and can't criticize anything about the apartment. Three successful days for us.

Our stay at Quinta Dos Carqueijais was a perfect 10/10! We chose the Villa das Oliveiras, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. It truly feels like you're immersed in the forest with beautiful views of the lake. The entire property is seamlessly integrated with nature, creating an idyllic setting for complete disconnection. The accommodation itself is stunning, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable—far better than what you might expect from the photos. The breakfast is plentiful, with great attention to detail. Additionally, we had the chance to enjoy the spa facilities, which include a jacuzzi, sauna, massages, and a heated indoor pool, all at a very competitive rate. Quinta Dos Carqueijais is the perfect place to unwind for a weekend getaway or to celebrate a special occasion near the Peneda-Gerês National Park

I had a lovely weekend at this beautiful manor house. The place is surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It’s peaceful, full of charm, and has such a calming atmosphere. The owners are incredibly kind and made me feel right at home, warm, caring, and super welcoming. Truly a special place. I’d definitely love to come back!

Our stay at Marie's place was lovely. The house is surprisingly beautiful and very unique. The small pool ended up being more than big enough. Perfect for a refreshing dip. Everything is very neatly maintained. But above all, the food was phenomenal. Breakfast is huge and everything, really everything is homemade from Marie. We also ate there for 3 evenings. The dinner was also delicious and super cozy. Marie is a very friendly hostess with whom you can have a nice chat. Would highly recommend!

What a wonderful and cozy place! I only stayed for one night but immediately felt at home thanks to Diogo and his mom, “Big Mama.” They are both such warm and friendly people, and Diogo went above and beyond to provide local recommendations, advice, and even walked me to a shop to print some papers I needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Angelique is a great host and the place she has with the stay is lovely. The village is very cute and on her property she has a nice swimming pool and wonderful places to sit. She wanted to take care of everything very well for us and she did. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend this beautiful place to everyone, to completely relax and unwind.

I enjoyed the Watermark very much. Hosts Rui and Ricado were always accommodating. Gave me tips in the area. Furthermore, you were always available (for questions) via text. The place was clean and you could connect with other and do things together. The surf and skate lessons with Luís were particularly good. 🤙🏼☀️ It was very good that you only had to walk a few steps around the beach from the property with the surfboard. 🏄‍♂️ The week in Espinho was very worthwhile for me. Thank you for the great time. I'd love to come back. ✈️ Regards Luis
