Stay a night at our tiny Hobbit House

We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.

Cozy Country Cottage

This is Country Quiet that is also centrally located. We are in between Syracuse and Cortland, NY (15 miles to both off Interstate 81.) You will be put to sleep by bullfrogs and crickets but be able to hop on the highway and reach many destinations. For vacationers, we are at the edge of the Fingerlakes about 20 miles from Skaneateles, NY. Whether passing through or here for a short stay, our place will provide comfort and quiet.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay in the Luna yurt! Being surrounded by the wilderness and hiking in the area really allowed us to take a break from our busy lives and relax. It’s in a central location so a little drive to Watkin Glen State park was the highlight of our trip, as well as being relatively close to Ithaca and Syracuse. The yurt had everything we needed, having a fully stocked kitchen and a comfy living space. The 150ft walk to the yurt seemed intimidating but was quite quick and cleared out. Jan and Ken were such warm hosts and responded quickly with any questions we had. We’re already thinking about when our next visit will be! Thanks for everything!

I felt so at home here - I cannot tell you! It was great to be able to cook myself meals after 2 weeks on the road with the microwave. A great private, peaceful, homy place! Doesn't hurt that there's wine downstairs too!

Kay was very accommodating when our son’s baseball tournament game schedule changed and we asked to change the days around. The house was everything we could have asked for. The owners are the nicest, even coming up to say hi when they heard my boys playing basketball outside. 5 out of 5, would recommend and plan on reserving the house if we have another Cortland tournament!

The quirky little space was perfect for our needs. It was very close to Lafayette where I had to do some business. It was very cosy and welcoming and our host provided us with an extra sleeping area As the space is designed for one person. This was my family’s first time staying at an AirBNB so of course we were nervous. However, Laura and her family made everything from the booking to the stay to check out very easy and spectacular! Her place is beautiful and very peaceful. It is also a great place for kids. They have thought of everything you could possibly need! We were even able to pop over and visit with the animals which made our kids very happy! If we are visiting the area again, we will definitely stay with her again.

We booked the cabin for a family stay graduation weekend at SU. Just a wonderful place with friendly neighbors & good host communication. The reality is even better than the pics. Well stocked kitchen & lots of great games downstairs that kept us up late playing. Highly recommend!
