Detached cabin, self catering, on decking next to main residence Ideal for out and about couple. Wonderful open outlook with views over River Dee. Too small for 3 adults. Max 1 dog. A double bed, with storage underneath, a single CHAIR bed, TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, airfryer, toaster, dishes, etc, WC & shower. There is no hob or oven. Towels, bed linen, usual necessities. Heating; portable oil filled radiators. A nice river side walk into town. Safe off road parking, room for bikes.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

The old school house is perfect to explore the area. Surrounded by wildlife and a beautiful garden a natural place to unwind. lots of walks from the house perfect for visiting Mossyard and Gatehouse of Fleet.

A really nice cosy cottage. Well located in a town with good amenities. Very clean. Very suitable kitchen for cooking in with a small provision of store cupboard items to make cooking a meal a bit simpler. The long garden is great when the sun comes out. The small covered seating area was a nice place to sit out when it rained. Good provision of DVD, games, up to date magazines. Host was very friendly and informative. 10/10 stay.

This is such a cosy house with everything you need. we loved the layout, the quaint feeling and the quiet. the beds were comfy and everything you need is here. The location is unbelievable, right in the heart of the historic old town. so much to see and do and we loved every minute of our stay. We would definitely recommend for the space, the location and the value. Also got a cute little garden area attached to the side of the house which is lovely in the nice weather.

Very spacious and well designed lodges with plenty of natural light coming in. Fantastic views and very peaceful and private. Beautifully designed inside and out, like a home away from home. Very well thought out to include everything you'd need to make a stay comfortable.Large parking spaces at the rear of the lodge. Booklet to book activities, (plenty to do).

What an amazing experience. Communication was fast, accurate and informative. The space was equipped to a very high standard with all you could ever need. The beds were amazing, comfortable with crisp white bedsing. 2 bathrooms were well designed. The garden is gorgeous and the local area has, possibly, some of the best views ive ever seen. Woke up refreshed to birdsong every morning. The welcome pack was generous and appreciated We'll be back!

We had a very comfortable return visit to Gatehouse of Fleet and enjoyed our stay in Robert's house. The shower was excellent and we slept incredibly well on the bed. The house is very well located in the town and the new EV chargers were a great surprise. Check-in was faultless and Robert provided all the necessary details.
