Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Antigua Guatemala

It looks like a magazine! One of the most beautiful places we've ever enjoyed with the family. The house is a perfect blend of colonial and modern. Everything was spotlessly clean, with beautiful and cozy decor in every corner. It feels very familiar, ideal for resting and enjoying as a group or as a couple. The hosts were attentive, kind and always attentive to every detail. We would definitely go back!

Paula’s place was the perfect home base for our stay in Antigua—organized, cozy, and exactly as described. Communication with her team was outstanding: clear, helpful, and impressively prompt. Overall, we had an extremely pleasant experience and would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Antigua.

Dalila’s property was perfect for our group of four. The layout was spectacular and coffee on the rooftop patio was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We has a great stay at Alfredo's place. The house looked even better than the pictures in person. It is very beautiful, peaceful and serene. The location is excellent, it is in walking distance of many restaurants and stores. If you want to venture further into town you can catch an Uber or Tuktuk at a very good price. Alfredo and Martha met us at the house during check in, it was nice to meet them. They provided us with information about the house as well as the area and activites which was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, the only issue we had was that 6 nights was not long enough. We still have so much that we want to do in Antigua and the surrounding areas, so we will definitely be visiting again. I recommend and will be staying at Alfredo's place again in the future. This place deserves 6 out of 5 stars if that was even possible. Our group of 9 stayed at Kat’s place and the consensus of all 9 was that it was the nicest Airbnb any of us had ever been to. Impeccably clean—Senora Estelita is a superstar who went above and beyond by doing our laundry (we were planning to do it ourselves using the laundry room) from our Acatenango hike, and helped mop some of the dust we brought back from said hike. The bedrooms and bathrooms are so clean, the rooftop is incredible and it was in good walking distance to everything. The only tiny thing we could have asked for improvement on was that the WiFi was pretty weak and 9 people on it was tough. Regardless of that small detail, don’t hesitate to book this place!

We simply enjoyed our stay in what we are renaming “La Casita.” Not only does it have an authentic rustic vibe true to Antigua but it was just as cozy & felt right at home! Jonathan was a pleasure to work with all along and very responsive from the beginning… Emma (house manager) was also a pleasure to have around when she stopped by and a very kind hearted lady! Overall the house had everything we needed and it was within walking distance or a short drive to A LOT of restaurants, shops, tiendas & THE BEST Panaderia (bakery) which was literally next door! An added bonus were the wonderful neighbors across the street (yes we met the neighbors too :) - everyone was so pleasant & a true representation of the magnificent warm local culture.

my family and i stayed here and we loved it! the house was incredibly clean and the location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! we are already planning our next trip to antigua and hoping to be able to book this same house next year!

Had a super stay at Alicia's! She was quick to respond, the apartment is in a good location, has everything you need and is better than in the photos!

Loch's studio was such a nice place to stay during my trip. it's so close to so many coffee shops, restaurants and the main square. I was easily able to walk everywhere from the Airbnb. Loch was responsive, helpful and very kind. I would definitely book again.

It was an excellent stay! The place is quiet and without a lot of noise as it is not inside the main town helmet, without being very far from the center, only 7 min walk from the handicrafts market and 15-20 from the central park. In addition, the attention to detail in the apartment is incredible! A bottle of wine to welcome us, firewood in the fireplaces, lights adorning the patio and the equipped kitchen with everything you need (including a good coffee). We only stayed 2 adults and the space was ideal for a couple, I consider that 2 other people would fit since they have an extra bed, only a little tighter. The photos on the listing are accurate, with stained glass windows and attention to improve the experience. The attention was friendly and fast but not very flexible, which is understood by the care they give to the place, only would not be the option if they are looking for a different check-in/out than the listing. All and all, would always come back, a unique experience:)

Would highly recommend Karel’s apartment for a stay in Antigua! Everything was clean, well decorated, and the location was perfect (just a few blocks from the main square, everything we wanted to do in town was walkable and we felt safe). The view from the roof deck at sunset is something special — we had friends who told us to go to Antigua Brewing Co for the view from their deck, and while that was lovely, we thought our private little spot was even better. Karel was proactive with directions ahead of our arrival and responsive with questions and recommendations during our stay. We stayed for five nights and were sad to say goodbye! Would 100% book again if we’re ever back in Antigua.

We had a wonderful stay. Despite being close to a road, the apartment was quiet all night. A short walk to Central Square. The apartment itself had a good amount of space and was very clean. We would definitely return.

If you want stunning views, and some peaceful surroundings, stay here! You can see Volcán de Auga, Fuego and Acatenango! I had just hiked Acatenango and chose this place to relax mainly. At night you can see the lava on Fuego, it's amazing! The bed was comfortable, nice bathroom and kitchen. Gorgeous pool, again facing the most incredible view. It is a bit remote, but if you have a car, then you're fine, otherwise they can arrange Jose or Israel to get you to town or the airport. There are a few restaurants that you can walk to as well. I felt totally safe there travelling as a solo female, and the locals I passed by on my walks were so lovely. Overall such a beautiful relaxing place to stay. The hosts were great and responded quickly and arranged my transfers.

An excellent place !! Silvia's place is an excellent place, the condominium is very safe, very quiet, beautiful and cozy. You have to be clear that it is not directly in Antigua Guatemala, however it is about 10-15 minutes from the center of Antigua and Uber arrives very quickly. The house is very nice, cozy, it makes you feel at home, the rooms are nice, the bathrooms are clean and it has everything for you to cook, which was very helpful. There is a shopping plaza 1 km away that has everything you need. The pool area is quite comfortable to have a good time with the family and its terrace is amazing for something more private with your companions. I loved the house, I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing place very comfortable and secure. Also just a 3 min drive from the main town. Wifi is a little bad but besides that 10 out of 10

It really is a very nice place, ideal for resting and disconnecting from the routine. We had excellent communication.

The condo is amazing, beautiful surroundings, in front of the pool and about a 5 minute walk to the entrance to Antigua. Check in was easy, the unit was just right for 3 of us and the WiFi was extremely reliable and fast. After sightseeing all day in Antigua it was really nice to come home and jump in the pool or have dinner in one of the outside tables. Deann was an amazing host, always quick in answering any questions, friendly and very proactive in sending information about events in the area, places to eat, spas, etc. It was truly a pleasure staying at Deann's condo, we were sad to leave but are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Everything great the 24 hour security feels nice & the parking right in front is hard to find in Antigua. WiFi works best from second floor. Nice small patio outdoor area & close enough to walk places. She has a nice few selection of books in English to read while at your stay too which was a nice touch. Nice hot water. Only wish was that they had laundry detergent & an iron that usually other air bnbs do have but nonetheless sweet host & felt safe staying here as a woman

Diana and Julio are gracious hosts, and their little piece of paradise is our new favorite place to stay in Antigua. Great location and we look forward to returning for a long stay later this year. Amenities are great and accommodating and we are so thankful to have new friends in the area. Un millón de gracias Diana, nos vemos pronto!
