Chalet vacation rentals in Annaberg-Lungötz

The three of us (one adult and two teenagers) spent a wonderfully relaxing week here. Christoph is a great and uncomplicated host who responds very promptly to questions. The cottage itself is exactly as described. The journey is via a narrow path (on which two riders met us upon our arrival, which led to a not so easy "reverse driving action"). Behind the house, a stream splashes, but you can't hear it with the windows closed (although I'm quite sensitive to noise), in front of the house, a hiking trail passes by that we used for two tours ("Hochebene Maria Elend - Kapelleralm Runde von Embach" and "Spektakulärer Skywalk - Taxenbach-Wasserfall Runde von Taxenbach" ... just check Komoot). The mountain golf course (clubs and balls are available in the information office in the village) is also fun. Culinary, the pizzeria Langreiter is highly recommended. The only sticking point: the bunk bed for people > 1.90 m.

We really enjoyed the few days here! Above all, the quiet location and the diverse possibilities in the area made this stay an unforgettable experience. Not to forget, of course, the beautiful cottage, where you can find everything you need for a short break!

I would highly recommend this place! Really perfect as a group trip. The place is very lovingly decorated and contains everything that is needed! We especially loved the warm barrel!

The house was great for my family of five. We had plenty of space to spread out. Location was great! On a quiet street but walking distance to a fun, family-oriented swimming pool rec area. The kids loved it there! My husband is a mountain biking fan, so we appreciated how easy it was to drive to Leogang and Saalbach. If we return to the area again, we would stay here again without question.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Alex’s place. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The surrounding scenery is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect location for anyone looking for family friendly outdoor fun while visiting Austria. Lofer is a quaint little town with a few shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The free amenities (gondola rides, pool access, gorge, cave, transportation, etc) were a lovely bonus.

The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

Very cozy apartment, all equipment you need (owen / microvawe / stove / all the dishes [glasses for beer, wine, shots, water], coffee machine for nesspresso capsules) great sauna, fireplace / huge terrace / no key nor keycard hassle, beautiful design, nice view into the valley and on the slopes, shop just around the corned if you need one, parking lot...basically all you can think of and all in a very high standards! Would not come again - because I would ideally not leave at all ;)

We were in the accommodation with 4 adults and 4 children and we lacked nothing. It was super clean and cozy. We had plenty of space and felt very comfortable. Thank you for this beautiful place, we will be happy to come back!

Location is fantastic. Very close to the lifts to go up to the mountain, which we did daily. The design of the property is very modern and really offers a high degree of relaxation. Peter was most excellent and helped us with everything that we needed. Always again.

This has been one of the most beautiful Airbnbs I have ever stay, the photos don't do it justice. I regret not having stayed longer. The views will take your breath away. If you are planning on staying here bring food so that you can prepare your meals as all stores are located at the bottom of the mountain, although a short drive down the mountain. The hosts were extremely friendly and communicated very well. This Airbnb is a re-do for me. Thank you for the most Amazing part of my trip.

We were very lucky with this place. We had to spontaneously cancel a place to stay because it didn't match the description and was super dirty. Then we found this gem and what luck - it was still available! The host immediately got down to business and cleaned the accommodation top, nice reception and everything around it just top. Super amenities, old barn converted to high quality, great location, just 10 minutes to the ski resorts. Super friendly landlord and a real recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay at Philipps Chalet! The place was absolutely great – very clean and well maintained. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect, especially for hikers, cyclists or anyone who just wants to relax. The contact with Snejana was smooth, easy and very nice – the process was also straightforward and pleasant. I highly recommend this place to stay and would come back anytime. The place is beautiful! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only thing that irritated us a little was the check in and out times. Check-in is only from 4 pm.. whereby we could only arrive later due to work anyway, but check out 10 o'clock, is quite sporty.. Had this, not really on the screen and slept, then I contacted the host and explained that we slept in and would only check out around 10:30. 10:25 a man knocks on and goes to the chalet to clean the hot tub without further words. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, which has gone down with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

Beautiful lakeside location. The view from the terrace of the lake and mountains is outstanding. Top amenities in the kitchen. Rooms were really great. A little tip: take new photos. On site, it was much nicer than the photos suggest ;-)

It was a wonderful stay. We were there with 4 people and a dog. The place is very clean, the beds and towels were fresh and washed. 🫧 We liked the sauna in the bathroom best, which was extremely easy to use and the perfect relaxation after long days of hiking. 😍 The view (directly onto the reservoir with the mountains around) as well as the privacy was just as beautiful. However, you have to accept that the nearest supermarket, etc., is 17 km away. But we would take this over and over again for such a great place to stay.🥹 The house has everything you need.🤗 The communication was also great, as was the descriptions. There is no even better price-performance ratio. Thank you for this lovely getaway.❤️

The accommodation was really great. Super kid friendly and great location. There is another house between the house and the lake, but there is still direct access to the lake. It's also really great and great cooling in the summer. The owners are always available and available in the restaurant next door (this is also highly recommended!).

The cottage was easily accessible. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, but when we entered the house it was nice and warm and very comfortable. That is why we enjoyed staying indoors and enjoyed our time there. Each room had its own bathroom with toilet, which is really great. Overall, we had a great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Our stay at the Steinbock was a complete success. The place was clean, cozily furnished and equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the quiet location with the wonderful view – perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and always easily accessible. We immediately felt welcome. The area also offers many great opportunities for hiking and exploring. We will be happy to come back!

We were there for the AirPower event. Unfortunately a little longer away by car, but ideal for overnight and sleeping. Everything is available, some things could be modernized, but that doesn't detract from the feel-good factor.
