We spent three wonderful days on Skogsøya. The house, although not traditional in style, was superbly positioned overlooking the sea and the neighbouring islands. The huge picture windows give an ever changing view that in real life are much better than the photos. We walked the coast road and several of the footpaths some of which climb hills behind the house and offer views over Vesterålen. You can hike to the north coast, but it gets very boggy beyond the big lake. Check the ferry timetable before travelling and if you arrive on a Sunday remember to do your shopping the day before! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in Anders place on this magical island.

The loft is wonderful and Maximiliam a magnificent host. The dream place. If you visit Vesteralen do not hesitate to stay here. In addition, Maximiliam is very attentive to everything, there are basics for cooking, a huge TV,... It is simply perfect.

The apartment was really very nice, superbly furnished and you had everything you needed. We felt right at home. The view is certainly very nice. We had very low-hanging clouds with drizzle, so no visibility for us. We can only recommend the apartment.

The Red House is very cozy & the area is great for hiking!

A very good place I can recommend to anyone visiting Lofoten. Perfect location close and close to many attractions!

The cabin is not new and you should not expect any super comfort. Despite this, the house has all the amenities: hot water, electricity, toilet, bathroom, etc. It was very nice that there were freezers in the basement, we were able to freeze and take us to Estonia😃. No one ever writes about this for some reason. In general, the house is exactly equal to price=quality. We may even come back.

From the moment we booked, communication with Vigdis was seamless and warm, making us feel welcome even before we arrived. Vigdis is the most welcoming and kind host one could wish for. Check-in instructions were super clear, she always responded quickly and shared tips on things to do on the island. The house itself is an absolute gem - cozy, inviting, and beautifully decorated to create a true home-away-from-home feeling. Waking up to the stunning sea view, surrounded by Norway’s breathtaking nature, was an experience in itself. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee with the view or exploring the serene surroundings, every moment felt special. Very great location, and especially the view of the sea from the living room and kitchen. Feeling of being alone with the sea even though it is neighboring houses. Walking distance to Nyksund which is an exciting, old fishing village and the start of Dronningruta to Stø.

June is a fabulous hostess! We stayed here for a business trip for my husband for 7 weeks. The apartment is beautiful, large, very comfortable. We call it "The Palace". She was very flexible and was able to let us stay longer than originally planned. She even drove us to the airport on the day we left so we didn't need to rent a car for the last few days. Very gracious and gave personal attention. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

Great campsite in a beautiful location and with very friendly and helpful staff! The apartment was very clean, comfortably furnished and you were on the beach in a few steps. We would definitely come back!

Very nice house that fits perfectly when you are many on a trip. Nice bathrooms, large bedrooms and a living room/kitchen that accommodates many people. We lacked nothing during our stay and had good communication with our hosts. Recommended!

Katarzyna and her husband are very nice people. I had my own room, the other rooms I shared with the owners. When I arrived, they warmly welcomed me and invited me to sit with them in the living room by the fire. They shared a lot of tips for trips in the area. Thank you, I felt at home. :)
