We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

This was a wonderful hidden gem in the city. I felt like I was all alone in a secret garden, even though you’re surrounded by houses and in the city. Nico and Elizabeth were awesome hosts. So kind and helpful. I loved taking the bike out and around the city and to the beach. I had a wonderful 2 days and will be back for sure! Thank you both!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at the Farm with Patries and Mike! We had the most amazing time staying at Patries and Mike’s farm. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Patries and Mike are truly exceptional hosts – warm, generous, and full of heart. You can feel how much love and care they put into their place and into every guest they welcome. The farm itself is a little slice of paradise. Surrounded by nature, animals, and peace, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, slow down, and reconnect with what really matters. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds – and especially the proud rooster announcing each new day with great enthusiasm! There’s a real sense of authenticity and warmth here that’s hard to put into words – you simply have to experience it. Thank you, Patries and Mike, for opening your hearts and your home to us. We left with full hearts, new inspiration, and the feeling that we had just spent time with old friends. We can’t wait to come back!

Wir würden herzlich empfangen und konnten direkt in das Haus. Riet wohnt direkt nebenan und war immer für Fragen erreichbar . Alles war super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Gegend war einfach traumhaft schön . Reichlich Platz um auch bei schlechten Wetter drinnen zu verweilen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen .

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

De Airbnb van Leon is een prima ruimte. Met het hete weer was het toch lekker koel/goed te doen. Leon is erg aardig en denkt met je mee. De communicatie was prettig. Ik was alleen, moest voor een opdracht in Delft zijn. Als ik daar weer moet zijn, kom ik graag terug.

Erg fijn, mooi en ruim verblijf. Lekker ruime woonkamer, heerlijke bedden in de slaapkamers en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! Pine en haar man waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huisje ligt op een kwartiertje rijden vanaf Bergen centrum en een klein half uurtje van het mooie strand. Leuk om even te bezoeken! Verder kan je heerlijk relaxen bij het huisje.

Die Unterkunft bei Jeanette und Rien ist einfach ein Traum und wir haben dort ein paar schöne und erholsame Tage verbringen dürfen. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und wir haben direkt auch Eier von den Hühnern bekommen :) Auf der Terasse direkt am Wasser hat man bei guten Wetter fast den ganzen Tag die Sonne stehen und man kann die Natur in Ruhe genießen, angeln und gegenüber auf der Wiese die Schafe beobachten. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung konnten wir mit dem Motorboot den Kanal befahren. In dem Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für den Alltag benötigt und es war sehr sauber. Wir würden definitiv gerne nochmal wieder kommen.

Nuestra estancia en esta casa fue maravillosa. Todo estaba impecable, cómodo y bien decorado. Disfrutamos especialmente de tranquilidad del entorno y su excelente situación para visitar Ámsterdam y los bonitos pueblos de alrededor. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento, con respuesta inmediata y dándonos muchas recomendaciones de que ver y cómo movernos por la zona.Sin duda, una experiencia no que repetiríamos. Recomendamos esta casa sin ninguna duda.

We had a really great time at this place! The location was very peaceful and calm. The house had all amenities we needed. The yard was lovely to sit and relax and our dog enjoyed there as well especially with the goats, chickens and the owner's dog! It was a first time caravan experience and it is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Esther, Michel and their kids were extremely friendly, responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. We felt right at home :) Would visit again!

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

Ein hübsches kleines Häuschen in ruhiger Lage mit vielen außergewöhnlichen Details! Großes Wohnzimmer mit Blick in die Felder. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Idyllischer Innenhof mit BBQ und Feuerschale, plus Sandkiste! Ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett ist separat, das Kinderzimmer gleich neben dem Wohnzimmer. Das obere Zimmer ist auf einer Empore mit Schräge unterm Dach, aber auch sehr gemütlich. Viele Ausflugsziele in nächster Nähe, wir können Alkmaar sehr empfehlen! Ein Urlaub hier ist erholsam und abwechslungsreich! Vielen Dank an Leonel und Cor, die immer erreichbar waren und sehr freundlich!

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni davvero fantastici da Irma, il posto è incantevole e immerso nella natura. La posizione è strategica per raggiungere molte destinazioni da visitare. Irma ci ha sempre dato ottimi consigli per le attività da fare! Nostra figlia chiede già di tornare!

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und persönlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick in einen traumhaften Garten runden die Wohlfühlatmosphäre ab. Die Terrasse ist komplett eingezäunt, was einen Aufenthalt mit Hund total entspannt macht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic house. Well equipped and everything you need in the kitchen. House was quiet and private with a great feel to it. Would strongly recommend. Illonka greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. We couldn’t asked for more

Perfekt värd och ett fantastiskt boende! Rekommenderar!

Wat een heerlijke plek om even te kunnen genieten van rust en ruimte. Het uitzicht over de landerijen is prachtig. Het huisje zelf is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt voor een prima verblijf. De grote tuin is mooi afgeschermd zodat onze hond hier prima los kon lopen. Het huisje ligt weliswaar op een klein bungalowpark, maar je hebt volledige privacy! Af en toe komt er een vliegtuig over vliegen, die hoor je wel (maar binnen niet!) maar voor ons was dat niet storend. In de omgeving kan je leuke wandelingen maken. Bij aankomst werden wij begroet door de eigenaren. Ine en Arjo zijn zeer gastvrij en reageren heel snel. Zeker een aanrader!

Die Wohnung in Noordwijk war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt! Sie ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Lage ist super, die Innenstadt und der Strand sind gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen, und Fahrräder stehen sogar direkt zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft für einen entspannten Urlaub an der niederländischen Küste – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Het verblijf van Karin was super. Alles was netjes schoon en zoals omschreven in de advertentie. Het strand ligt op 30 minuten wandelen. Eerst door het bos en dan door de prachtige duinen. Winkels zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Kortom we hebben genoten en ik zal de accommodatie van Karin zeker aanraden.

We had a really enjoyable time staying in Annemarie and Dirk’s cottage. It was well positioned for our day excursions and having bikes available to use was a highlight. On Annemarie’s advice we caught the ferry to dinner and biked home along canals - magic! Great hosts who helped us wirh our questions. Highly recommend staying here.

Heerlijk genoten van de rust! Mocht je elders wat willen doen wist Joyce genoeg te vertellen over de omgeving. Top faciliteiten om maximaal te ontspannen. Al met al een super locatie en host! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

La casa y la localización es increíble, estás en medio de una granja. Alrededor tienes vacas, ovejas, cerdos , gatos, conejos … obviamente tendrás el ruido de los animales por las mañanas , pero es parte del encanto . El piso está bien , completo , tiene de todo . El pueblo de al lado tiene de todo lo que uno necesita . Gerard muy amable nos orientó en todo lo que necesitamos, nos prestó bicicletas, merece la pena hacer un paseo en ellas por la zona . Para los niños hay una cama elástica , un tractor para jugar que se lo han pasado increíble . Un lugar con mucho encanto .
