We had three lovely days. Excellent cottage with a great garden. Ideal place to discover the area (already cycling) from there.

Mariken responded quickly to all inquiries in advance. The house is small but very nice and you can also enjoy sitting outside. The kitchen contains all the amenities you could need, even a fully automatic coffee machine. We were looking for a house where we could meet another family for dinner. It was ideal for this, as there is enough space outside and inside. We did not find the aircraft noise very disturbing. We had a lovely weekend.

Gerrit is the best man. You can book with him without hesitation.

The beautiful house was very individually decorated, very bright inside and equipped with private furniture. Everything was clean and upon arrival the very likeable house owner Jan directly welcomed us, explained the house and gave us tips for the area - for example where we can find a cheap bike rental. Joffry takes care of the house and was very accessible. We especially enjoyed the harmony of the house and garden. In the garden there were two chickens that laid fresh breakfast eggs. From the house you can look out on a magnificent dune landscape where you can hike or cycle. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by bike - if you prefer a secluded beach section, you can go a few minutes further. We really liked the nearest town Alkmaar with its many historic houses, restaurants, cafes and picturesque canals. We would very much like to rent the beautiful house again from Jan and Joffry. We really enjoyed our stay at the little cottage. The cottage was really cozy and the garden was beautiful. It is an one hour walk to the beach through a beautiful dune park. We would definetly come back :)

We enjoyed staying at the farm! It was great to be able to travel from the place to many great events to De Hague, Amsterdam, Keukenhof and Zaandam! We had a quiet place to rest each time we came home. Thank you Koos for letting us enjoy your place!

The chalet is perfect for 4 people, stylish and modernly furnished and excellently equipped. The great view of the sea and the very well-kept complex are convincing.

We felt very comfortable and will come back 100%☺️. The cottage was sparkling clean and well-equipped. We liked that the property was fenced and we could let the dog run free😅. Communication with Carlo was great, he gets back to you quickly. What could still be exchanged is the seating in the garden. But maybe that's already planned for the high season. Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing place! It’s the perfect getaway for anyone looking to take a real break from the city. My husband, our one-year-old, and I spent a week here and would have happily stayed longer. The view of the lake from the house is absolutely stunning — waking up to it every morning was a real treat. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped, especially the kitchen — it had everything we needed, which is not always the case with rental homes. We truly enjoyed every moment and would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and beautiful nature.

We were with two families (4 adults and 3 smaller children) in Vreny's and Bart's house. We felt very comfortable and were grateful for many small things such as a crib or a stair gate, which are not self-evident. Kitchen was also superbly equipped. The rooms are rather small, which was very convenient for our room layout. You can hear the train and planes in the distance, but it was never so loud that it bothered us. Our children found watching the train on the way to the playground or supermarket rather exciting (and were probably often louder themselves...). Since we were there in the summer and usually had good weather, we were often on the beach. By car, finding a parking space can be difficult. If you have a bike, you should definitely take it with you and use it. Otherwise, we liked to use the garden and barbecued there. We would gladly come back. We felt very comfortable. The view of the sea is indescribably beautiful.

The apartment was very nice and surrounded by nature. We quickly felt like at home. The panoramic view of nature is good for the soul. All the technology worked well. The amenities were very good in every respect. Bicycles brought along could be safely and dryly accommodated in a barn. And the hosts were very warm and welcomed us warmly. I'm sure we'll be back. 😍

The apartment was perfect for a small, spontaneous stay. The owner responded spontaneously and accordingly we were able to move into the apartment at 2: 00 am. Will come again any time!

with kids in the caravan was super. The area is so beautiful....robins , bunnies, silence (occasionally a plane) you can go to the fine beach of castricum by the sea (10 minutes by bike) clean toilet sticks. You can rent bicycles for the children and go-karts. Playground and nice activities.

We had a great stay at the beach with our children (5&7). In both rain and sun, we felt very comfortable in the beach hut. The children liked to play behind the house on the dunes, where it was nice and warm and protected even with a lot of wind. The sea was so close that we made short trips to the water again and again, even if it was very fresh for longer swimming in the North Sea. With a large midday heat, the children could play under the cabin in the shade in the play kitchen. For my husband and I there were plenty of sunny and shaded places and we were able to relax for super hours. Ideal spot for kiters in wind - you don't have to drag the material far and there is parking for residents right behind the dunes. You have to be aware that, as with camping, you use public toilets (and shower). The way there is only short from the cottage.

Nice accommodation, in a green and quiet environment, equipped with everything you need. Easy to get to tourist destinations. recommended!
