Vacation rentals with lake access in Amstel

We had a very nice weekend at Frank's place. In good weather - if you can sit outside - this place is perfect. Amsterdam and Utrecht are easily and quickly accessible. The surroundings around the property are also very welcoming.

We stayed a week in this beautiful house by the lake. Nature is unique the view of the lake and the seabirds spectacular. You have absolute peace and, if you want, you can also go out a bit by rowing boat. Gouda, Rotterdam and The Hague are super quick to reach if it rains or you want to see something different. We felt very comfortable in the house. There are probably some flight bugs due to the lake location, but at least at this time of the year there were no stinging specimens. We would come back.

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay for our party of 5. Right on the lake but a short 10 minute walk to town and eating places. We loved our stay here

What a lovely little place, right in the heart of the old city, super close to harbour and restaurants. We used the train station a lot, which is only a 10 minute walk away. The house is clean, modern and has all amenities. Communication with Jouke was easy and we received quick responses. We would stay here again in a hearbeat!

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was just like in the photos – very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We particularly enjoyed the view of the water, which made the stay really special. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly and we felt welcome from the beginning. Small extras such as a welcome greeting and local tips were also a nice surprise. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend this house!

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was easy. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next fall. Thanks for everything Saskia and Flip.

The place fully complied with the description. The host responded promptly to any question. We had spent 3 nice days there and felt very comfortable in the house. We fully recommend the space and the host.

Mr. Mike was great, very kind, the house is great and the place is very beautiful. It was a nice weekend.

The harbor office was easy to find, check-in was easy and hassle-free. The apartment fully corresponded to the description. The highlight is the view of the Loosdrechter Ser. The supermarket on the opposite side of the street makes your shopping very easy. The central location (about 10 minutes to the highway) allows quick access to the sights. We'd love to come back. Amazing place - beautiful, clean, nice decorated, every small detail is done with love and passion. Completely equiped with all you might need. One of our boys counted that there were 70 towels in the bathroom. Beds are comfortable, nice view from the window. The location is perfect - 2 mins from the bus stop, restaurants, supermarket, plus a private parking spot. We were more than lucky to find this place. The hosts are very charming, helpful and warm people. And we loved their cute dog Katia :) Probably this is the best place that we have ever stayed and for sure the best hosts.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was quiet, clean and comfortable! We loved the kitchen, it had everything you need to cook. The shower with steam bath - simply awesome! Willemien and Maurice are very friendly and attentive hosts. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the view. The cottage was clean and tidy and equipped with everything. The view was amazing. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow it, but the beautiful moments we were able to sit on the terrace and the jetty. We stayed in cottage # 5. Highly recommended. Good beds and full equipment in the kitchen.

A beautiful cottage in which we immediately felt comfortable. The view is sensational: ducks, storks, rabbits, lots of greenery and waterside. On the terrace with the very cozy rocking chairs, you can relax and enjoy a sundowner. The amenities are perfect, the beds very comfortable and everything super clean. Rudi is a great host and very friendly. 😊 We will be happy to come back.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

The house was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to feel at home. The views were stunning and we could enjoy many beautiful sunsets. The host was always available and gave us helpful recommendations that enriched our stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable trip.

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

Favorite for Edam, the place is amazing, so beautiful, peaceful and at the same time so close to everything! Nicolas' house is very nice and as described, we felt very quickly at home. We were welcomed by Nicolas who is a very friendly host. We found the people in Holland to be incredibly kind. We mainly visited Amsterdam during its 3 days but in reality there is so much to see that we plan to go back. The bus station is really a minute's walk away and you can go to Amsterdam directly in 20 minutes. You can't pay for bus and tram tickets in cash, you need adults and everyone's credit card, which was a little disconcerting at first. After the days of intensive walking, arriving in Edam in the evening at Nicolas' house to have a drink in the courtyard near the canal was very pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay in Lonneke’s place. The house is very cute and cosy with absolutely everything you need. Lonneke left out really clear instructions and a few tips of things to do in the area. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant in the village centre. The service team and the locals were super friendly and the food was good. The local village shop is also well stocked. Lovely walks : ribs in the area and a couple of us were brave enough to take a dip in the river! Would highly recommended

Angelique was a good and friendly host. She greeted us right on the street, so we didn't have to look any further for the accommodation. The cottage is very lovingly furnished. The location on the water is really good. You have your privacy here. We were also very pleased about the food provided. We had a very nice time.
