We stayed with Christiana for a total of 10 weeks. It was really a wonderful, beautiful time. Very quiet location, in the middle of the olive grove. Wonderful terrace where you can watch the sunset every day. It is a total of two residential units. Since we do not want immediate neighbors, Christiana did not rent out the second apartment during this time. The house was neat and clean. The beds are good. Small weak spot is the bathroom. There are two tavernas in the village. The nearest shop, which is very well stocked, about 10 minutes by car towards Elafonisi. Attention, definitely take the coastal road! Google maps shows this partially incorrectly across the mountains. From the house you can also go hiking directly on foot. Just start towards the church. 100% referral. We'll be back for sure!

This villa in Sfinari is a very special place to have a vacation. We were there for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The villa really does look like the photos including beautiful furniture, an amazing pool, three lovely bedrooms including air con and even really nice crockery. The view from the pool is to die for - the sunsets are legendary! The location is great with the beaches at Elafonisi and Falasarna and the towns of Chania and Kissamos all being pretty close. The village itself has a few nice restaurants, but I wouldn't bother with the beach. Denis, who maintains the property, is also a godsend. On our second day we had heavy rain which left the patio and pool filled with Saharan sand! Denis turned up the next day and cleaned the whole outside space so we could carry on using it. A couple of considerations 1) the road to Sfinari is windy and mountainous, so a bit of brave driving is needed and 2) the villa is lacking basic foodstuffs like oil and herbs

We had 10 unforgettable days at Georgios and Alexandra's place. The two were extremely likeable hosts. They were available to us at all times. The stone house has a very special character. It's with everything what you need. The highlight is the spa area with a large hot tub, a large shower and a toilet with the most beautiful views. Not to forget, a magnificent sun terrace. If you are looking for peace and relaxation is just right here. The most important thing that made the place perfect for us was the sugar-sweet animals that live there. This included 3 adult cats, two baby cats and not to forget, a very nice little dog. Please remember to treat treats. They're so excited. We fully recommend the place. It certainly wasn't our last stay at this beautiful house.

I recently stayed at Petro Pefko Loft on Crete for 5 days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The place is designed in a beautiful traditional style, very charming and cozy. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. The host Vicky was attentive and helpful, providing all the necessary information and making sure we had everything we needed. The surroundings are simply breathtaking, stunning landscapes with mountains and the sea nearby. This is truly a place worth visiting, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay on Crete.
