My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. Hytta har spesielt god utsikt mot Lofotveggen, Vestfjorden, Bøsanden, fjellet Mjeldberget og Bøbygda. Engeløya er en perle i den nordlanske kystnatur. Et levende kulturlandskap. Hytta ligger i et av de beste landbruksområdene i Nord-Norge. Veiene og stiene og naturen i fjellene og langs kysten og i bygda her egner seg godt til fine turer. På sykkel og til fots. Eller kajakk. Her er godt grunnlag for naturopplevelser, friluftsliv og avslapping. Velkommen til en fin ferie.

Vi ønsker at alle skal få oppleve naturen så tett på som mulig. Derfor har vi bygget tre små hytter/ hus, med store glassflater overalt, slik at man kan sitte inne og nyte fjellene, horisonten, sjøen , solnedgangene og midnattsolen. Nå er det ikke alltid det sol på øya, så vi har en deilig sofa, som kan bli daybed også, til stunder hvor man vil sitte inne under pleddet, se på regnet og vinden, men likevel får en flott opplevelse av den skiftende naturen.

Oppvasken gjøres på "gammelmåten" i en balje, og vann må hentes fra badet. Ikke wifi eller tv. Finn roen og nyt utsikten. Fine turområder, strand og bålplasser i nærheten. Gjestene vasker selv etter seg, gebyr tilkommer på stedet dersom det ikke blir gjort rent.

Well equipped cabin by the sea in with a view to Lofoten. Very quiet area on the countryside perfect for nature lovers. Just 350 meters from E6 and 5 km. from Skarberget ferry port. Great scenery, climbing possibilities and hiking terrain. Large terraces, barbecue area and private beach. The fjord is also known for salmon fishing. 20 km. to Stetind, Norways national mountain. There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.

Ett paradis! Vi spenderade tre nätter i denna stugan i mitten på juni. Det var fortfarande snö på vissa ställen vilket gjorde vissa trails lite svåråtkomliga. Stugan ligger så vackert till precis vid en sjö. Magiskt ställe, hade gärna kommit tillbaka. Själva stugan var jättemysig med en kamin som värmde gott om nätterna.

Kiitos Darina ja Cyrill! Tämä oli varmaan paras Airbnb-majoitus, jossa olemme koskaan yöpyneet. Kaikki sujui erinomaisesti ja majoittajat vastasivat aina nopeasti ja olivat aina valmiita auttamaan. Asunnosta on upeat maisemat vuorille ja itse majoituspaikasta lähtee ihana 1,4 km patikointireitti lammelle. Kokonaisuudessaan talo upea niin ulkoa kuin sisältä. Todella hyvällä maulla sisustettu. Kaikki tarvikkeet ja materiaalit laadukkaita. Viisi tähteä jokaisesta osa-alueesta. Suosittelemme lämpimästi!

Our stay at this beautiful hut was the highlight of our Norway trip. The hut is equipped with everything needed for a longer stay and the surrounding area is stunning and peaceful. In our short time, we were able to explore the local trails to the nearby beaches, see a moose directly from the window, catch and cook an arctic cod — all of it in just 2 nights. John-Karstein was very welcoming and has clearly put a lot of passion into building a very authentic and unique staying experience. We wish we could spend a longer time and will certainly be back for longer next time.
