Life is better on the summit! 1 mile from the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Sitting on an acre of natural meadow and marsh land, the property includes the American River headwaters. Enjoy our remodeled interior w/ fireplace and rear deck with hot tub & fire pit. In the winter, we get a lot more snow than in the basin. Typically 15 min to the Y and 25 min to Stateline. Note the cabin is *on* Hwy 50 (some road noise) and is not "in town". This gets you closer to Sac and Sierra at Tahoe.

Notice: If anyone in your group breaks the local laws, Example using the hot tub after hours or too loud after hours, you will be responsible for the whole fine. Ideally located at the end of the street with access to Saxon Creek trail and acres of forest and miles of hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing from the front door. What we love about this home is the privacy; the feeling of being in the mountains and woods, with views of tall pines from inside, including from some of the bedrooms.
