The cabin is just a 2- 5-minute drive to our local (family-owned) marina, Town and Country Marina/Tiki Bar. Sportsmans Lodge/Marina. It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever visited. The shower has a double head so you and a partner can shower at the same time. The grill was extremely clean and looks brand new. The kitchen has everything you would ever need. The bed was extremely comfortable and did I mention how clean this place is. We will definitely come back and stay in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Matthew was an excellent host and prepared us well with frequent communications. The cabin was like stepping back in time. We enjoyed the fire outside and hot tub but only were in the area for 1 night. My son and I loved finding the faces and meeting with the fairies and gnomes. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Maybe next time. Thank you Matt.

Quiet lakefront cabin nestled in National Park!

The pictures of this place do not do it justice. Stunning view that you have to see for yourself to believe. We made sure to wake up early every morning to make a cup of coffee with the fanciest coffee maker and go watch the most beautiful sunrise next to the lake. The massage chair was a nice to relax in after walking around Fort Heiman and learning about its rich history. Johnathan was extremely responsive to anything I sent him and sent detailed instructions on check in and check out. The kitchen had everything you could need for your stay and it even had coffee beans and creamer which were a nice touch. The bathrooms were beautiful and stocked with nice toliteries as well as those easily forgetable things such as makeup remover wipes, mouthwash, toothpaste, and qtips. The beds were extremely comfortable, even the ones that fold down. We were so thankful we chose this place and are already planning our next trip back!

The Farmhouse

Amazing place to stay for a weekend or longer! We just stayed 2 nights and everything about it was ideal- Everything was clean and neat when we got there, plenty of space but not so much that you're losing stuff. The beds were super comfy, TVs in the bed room and the living room, so anywhere you want to hang out is easily entertained. The kitchen has Tons of counter space for making food, all the dishes/ utensils you could want are already there. Sunroom had beautiful views all the way around- great sunsets; all the windows open to enjoy the breeze without the bugs. Private enough to feel like you're own little world, but only a 15 minute drive to explore Hazel- the antique stores were fun to wonder around, or grab groceries.
